My name’s Anish. I’m 32, 5ft 8 (173 cm). I spent a bit of my childhood in the USA, but now permanently based in Bombay. I’m now at a stage in life where I’m looking at marriage seriously and intentionally.

I recently wound up the business I built over the last 8 years to join my father’s business as part of a strategic merger and long term expansion plan. We’re a business family in the steel industry with interests that fall in the ₹100+ crore turnover range. Despite that, our upbringing and lifestyle have remained fairly grounded and middle/upper middle class in values. I have a sister, but she lives in North America - so it’s just myself, my mother and father who live here.

I currently live in South Bombay in one of the city’s more well known residential buildings. The running joke is that if the elevators stop working, two captains of IPL teams would be inconvenienced.

Outside work, fitness is a huge part of my life. I train 5–8 times a week, average around 10k steps most weekdays, and play sports 3–4 times weekly. I play squash, pickleball, cricket, football, and I swim too. I’m taking up tennis as my summer sport. I’m also very social and enjoy being around people, hosting, spontaneous plans, and generally having a full life outside work. Despite being very social and coming from relative privilege, I’m surprisingly low maintenance in my personal life and happiest around people where things feel easy and genuine.

What I value most in relationships is partnership. I’ve never liked the idea of a woman losing her individuality after marriage. If anything, I’d want to be known as “her husband” in her circles rather than the other way around. I deeply admire ambitious, driven women and genuinely enjoy supporting the people I care about in becoming more of who they already are.

What I’m looking for:

• someone kind, emotionally mature, and communicative

• Hindu

• vegetarian and non smoking are important to me

• ideally fitness conscious or active in some capacity

• career oriented/ambitious is genuinely attractive to me

• 5’3+ preferred

• Bombay based is a plus, though not mandatory

I’m not here for validation, attention, or endless texting. I know how a lot of these ‘flex’ posts come across, and I understand a lot of what I’ve typed (or had ChatGPT rephrased for me) falls under that category. I’m here because I’m serious about finding the right person and settling down. If things align well, I’d prefer moving toward exchanging biodatas/family involvement sooner rather than later instead of dragging things indefinitely.

I value chemistry, mutual respect, emotional safety, shared ambition, and two people genuinely choosing each other consistently.
