I absolutely HATE Gino. Everything about him disgusts me and it’s hard getting through his segments. However, he didn’t make me want to puke this latest episode. He seemed more like a person and not a giggling little bitch. The girl is probably too young for him and it’s definitely not time for her to introduce her kids to Gino after one date. But he seemed less yucky.
I have TLE and haven’t had any episodes since August. Last Friday I started feeling a little off. And today I had a focal seizure which sucks. I’m at work, and my son works with me. I remember sitting here trying to remember something and I was rambling on about it. I could feel the memory on the tip of my tongue and I was trying to get it out. After I came out of it I couldn’t remember at all what I said. I asked him and he said I was talking about football. Which is weird because I know basically nothing about football.
Now I feel like I shouldn’t drive again. And I was just looking at cars and was excited to get a brand new one. Now I Just feel discouraged and I don’t care what car we get because I won’t be driving it anyway. I have seen my neurologist a few times since I was diagnosed but I have never had a seizure since seeing him. Do I need to make another appointment? I don’t know How any of this works since Im still new to it. I have an appointment in July but should I make one sooner?
Way too many times now when I go to login to an app or website I put in my email address and password. Then it says they sent a code to my email or phone that I also need to enter. Why? Isn’t the whole purpose of having a password is to get into your account? Why the extra steps? One day I left my phone at work and didn’t feel like going back for it. I have other devices at home so I could still do whatever I needed to do without a phone. So what happens first? I login to my iPad and it tells me I need to get the code it sent to my phone! I’m getting tired of all the extra steps. And not being able to use one device because you don’t have the other one? Stupid.
We live in a relatively small town. I work for a “small” business that’s been here for a long time. My boss is a jerk. He took over the business when his dad retired. His dad is a great guy. Always cared for the employees, gave raises when they’re deserved, etc. Not his son. Whenever anyone inquires about getting a raise he says the business isn’t doing as well as it should be so there won’t be any raises. Then he takes a vacation. I think he went on about 12 vacations last year. And yes, it’s his money yada yada…. So he can do that. All of the packages that we receive at work come through me so I also get to see the thousands of dollars his wife spends on clothes and shoes. It’s crazy. I think I had about $10k of clothing come in for her yesterday. Because she needs something to wear on their vacation next week. It’s just crazy to me that you claim the business isn’t doing well so you don’t have to pay your employees what they’re worth while you’re sitting in first class on tire way to another resort in your $5000 tshirt.
People will say Then quit if you don’t like it. I’ve been here for going on 20 years. I am getting older and don’t have it in me to start over at this late in life. I make enough to live, I just wish he wasn’t a jerk and cared about his employees, Thats all. Rant over.
She’ll start talking in the middle of the night. She’ll randomly start playing music. Just now I got out of the shower (Im the only one here) and there was piano music playing on one of the echos. I never listen to anything like that. I said Alexa Stop. Then I asked why she was playing that. I kept getting the I wasn’t playing anything, are you sure it was this device playing? Yes. Then I get, your morning lights came on at 5:15, are you sure that’s not what you heard? Lights don’t play music, so no. And that was 30 minutes ago. Finally I told her to shut up and I opened my phone to see that I requested piano music to be played. Well, I did not. And if I had, why is she telling me she wasn’t playing anything? I think Alexa is trying to make me lose my mind.
