Shooter Orientation / Practice Runs

Local club requires new shooters to attend an orientation before they can shoot a match, whether they're club members or not- honestly I'm thankful for it.

Preparation for my first match, this isn't every run from today. I learned a fair amount, definitely still have some things to work on and improve though.

Shooting both USPSA and IDPA, hence us using IDPA targets (RSO is also trying to steer me more toward IDPA anyway because the USPSA matches fill up quick, and club guys have first dibs for signups).

Dogshit ass shooting.

Group Support Battalions / Special Troops Companies

Hey all, I haven't really been able to find an appropriate place to ask this- even my local SF recruiter doesn't know much about the process.

Fuckass 6-year parts changer with an ETS early next year. I've worked with teams in the past at my prior duty station, mostly as OPFOR and attending their open training opportunities, and every time, it has been a wonderful experience. Familial commitments and my body being abit too broken at the moment are the only things stopping me from sending it and gunning for SFAS, but I would love to work with the guys still in a more direct way than I had prior.

Does anybody have a hint of information about getting into a GSB or STC (National Guard)? I've already reached out to my local USASOC recruiting office, alongside emailing 528th's S1 (currently waiting on a response) about reassignment. My active career counsellor is only able to point me to an installation, and I haven't talked with the NG recruiters yet to see if they could do anything.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Will Silverrock cover a missed TSB?

Hello! I've recently made my first Carvana purchase, and am both happy with the vehicle and the purchase experience! However, I've run into an intermittent issue not caught during the initial PPI (due to it being spotty).

Symptoms of the issue, alongside the maintenance history of the vehicle, show that it has missed a TSB (Acura TSB 16-016 if any of you are familiar). Starter grinds or whirs on startup, intermittently. The issue is caused by improper clearance between the starter motor gear and torque converter ring gear. I figure it's better to pay a $100 deductible than purchase the OEM part and performing it (plus a radiator drain+fill and transmission drain+fill due to the maintenance procedure) myself.

I've already had the mispleasure of dealing with Silverrock's "get bent nerd" approach while seeking coverage for an issue prior (extensive dry-rot on all four tires + out of spec DOT that apparently wasn't bad enough to warrant replacement, during the 7 day return window).

If it helps, the vehicle is still under the 100 Day Limited Warranty, and I also have Carvana Care Plus. I'm only worried because the tire dry rot would have been something covered under CCP, but I still got told to get bent.

Thank you all!

TLDR; Vehicle missed TSB, repairs appear to be covered under Carvana Care Plus, but I've already been rung out to dry by Silverrock once for another issue that appears to have been something which should have been covered.
