You reckon subconsciously they respect you less and it comes out in their interactions with you?

For the record im a male, how do I get over the shame I feel and embarrassment of getting a rhinoplasty?

Im now approaching 30 and got it done when I was 18. First 5 years after it I didn't think about it but after I started getting feelings of shame and embarrassment as a male having plastic surgery done. Coupled with the fact that it doesnt look great and somewhat too small for my face.

If it was something that couldn't be seen, i would've handled these feelings better but as you know the nose is slap bang in the middle of your face.

Its like in my head, everyone i meet or passerbys on the street are laughing at me and judging me. Its an awful feeling, where as you could imagine i dont date, i miss social events and my confidence and self esteem straight down the drain.

If only I could go back in time,

I want to practise radical acceptance but I dont think its possible I could ever accept my reality and go about my life.

Would you say this is normal or something to be checked out?

I got a reconditioned engine n57 fitted into my bmw diesel x5 3 litre xdrive, and has been running very well since I got it fitted, now a thousand miles laters the top up engine oil with 1 litre message appeared.

This is particularly traumatising because the reason I got a new engine was because of low engine oil and low oil pressure problems which ended up destroying the engine.

​

Ive got an interim service with the garage that fitted the reconditioned engine at 1500 miles, so have another 500 miles before I book an appointment, the engine also has 12 months warranty. Ive texted them telling them that this message has appeared and that I topped up a litre and they said they'll check it out when I come in for the interim service.

Would you say this is concerning?

Any tips on not recognising yourself even 2 years after you get your nose done even though the nose itself looks fine?
