damage calculation and damage recap is so bugged i have no words

I genuinely don't understand how a 720 AD riven with close to 50% armorpen can do 71 damage with a passive auto attack to a 120 armor hwei, no augment or prismatic to reduce any sort of damage. At the end of the game i check my stats and in every single game i am by far doing the least damage if i play riven.

Similar thing happened with marksmage and sylas, i was able to 1shot more than half the champs but i would start doing close to no damage in some instances. In damage recap i would have something like 300-400 damage overall in a 30second+ fight? In endgame result marksmage ended doing the exact same damage as my overall damage, implying everything i do deals exactly 0 damage or it's just turbo bugged and everything counted towards the augment even if i didn't even have the augment until 2nd selection?

Things make zero sense.

Looking for a pad alternative to (old) FNATIC Focus 3

Long story short i got a FNATIC Focus 3 years ago, it was extremely durable and while it slowed down over time it's still very consistent. I upgraded it with the new Focus model, but it was a HUGE mistake. It's not only 6mm thick but it also came damaged because it was stored in the tube packaging for far too long. It was impossible to flatten out so i ended up getting another one thinking it will be different. Same story but different damage patterns. Even if i tried flattening it out with books and boxes for weeks it was impossible. I tried soaking it in warm water but it floats on it thanks to the base so it was somewhat complicated. The only option i haven't tried is ironing it out but i will do it soon because i have no other ideas.

And so i decided to look for another pad. Loved the new focus' surface and stitching but it's just impossible to play on it without feeling constant discomfort (which leads to me misclicking and underperforming).

Looking for 2-4mm cloth pads that are either balanced or they lean into control surface territory (no speed pads). Also if you have any experience with dealing with similar situations, feel free to share your story so maybe i can salvage the current pad.

Updating post with the template from the rec thread

  • Speed Preference: Balanced - Control
  • Budget: no more than 60$
  • Texture Preference: smooth mostly, can't be too rough or textured due to skin irritation
  • Pads you've used before: roccat taito(first pad),some qcks,xtrfy gp4,one of the hyper x pads,fnatic focus 3,new focus
  • What you liked/disliked about those pads: smoothness and control = good, humidity issues(if they were present) = bad
  • Region: EU
  • Do you use a sleeve?: no
  • Main games: league right now, sometimes apex and OW (1600dpi with lightweight mouse)
  • Extra requirements: humidity resistance

Love the game but hate to play it

I got back into the game after nearly 10 years of break. Decided to push ranked and learned a singular role (jungle) where i pushed my limits on 3-4 champions at best. After a year of playing i reached master 0lp and i felt satisfied, so i wanted to learn more of the game because i really liked it. This is where problems started. So naturally i am not going to first time champs in ranked and especially not on roles that i don't play atll, so i looked for casual game modes. After playing some games in norms and running into nothing but D2+ stacks while getting silver teammates i completely gave up on it, so i played some mayhem and arenas instead. The experience was very similar, though mayhem was a bit better(but also had way lower lows). Tried swiftplay but it's such a butchered version of SR that it just doesn't feel good to play.

So this is roughly where i am right now, it's been 3 months since i touched SR and i just enter practice tool to practice jungle clears and maybe mess around with some champ mechanics. Then i decide to play 1 mayhem or arena and immediately regret it as the experience is mostly negative for me.

I would love to play the game and enjoy different aspects of it + learn new things at my own pace, but sadly this isn't even an option unless i get another account (which would have no champs or cosmetics on it naturally).

It's probably time to quit at this point. I highly regret just tunneling 1 role and a few champions but at the time i really felt the momentum and i wanted to see how far i can get. Sadly this doomed my entire account and now i have to int games if i want to lower my MMR in ranked to a point where i'd be able to learn in a normal environment.

If anybody had a similar experience i'd like to hear how you coped/dealt with the situation.

too much damage in the game

armor and mr holds no value, hp has zero value because theres far too much %hp damage in the game

once your mmr climbs a bit you gonna see an endless sea of double adc + velkoz/random mage/enchanter or triple assassin comps

damage needs to be drastically reduced because shielding is currently the only viable option to not get 1tapped as a melee non assassin character

AFKing in arena needs to be addressed

There are far too many fresh accounts afking/griefing arenas and theres no way to get out of the games. Surrender votes require 3 votes which means you have to sit through the entire game since they will never vote. Even worse, you have to pretend to play the game because standing still gets you flagged for afking so your account gets penalized.

Let people get out of afk'd/griefed games if the system detects that somebody isn't playing.
