12w5d scan boy or girl?

Just had my 1st trimester scan yesterday at 11w6d which turned out to be 12w5d (I always ovulated early so there was no surprise there).

Doctor didn't want to guess and I'm getting NIPT results end of next week but can anyone take a guess? Boy or girl? First baby and i've seen stuff about the nub theory but can't really tell? It's just for fun we really just want an happy healthy baby 🤍

I'll update as soon as I have the test results!

Decidir Hospital para o Parto

Olá malta, mãe de 1ª viagem ainda no primeiro trimestre, e venho pedir as vossas opiniões/conselhos (zona de Lisboa/Margem Sul)

A médica que me tem acompanhado já não realiza partos infelizmente e estou no processo de decidir o Hospital (privado) para o parto. Tenho bom seguro de saúde e já me decidi por cesariana eletiva (sou profissional de saúde e foi uma decisão informada e consciente de todos os riscos/benefícios que daí advém).

Lusíadas: O meu marido foi operado neste hospital recentemente e achámos super desorganizado. Tive ainda consulta com uma obstetra lá e odiei: falta de tato ("vamos lá ver se está aí e se está vivo" dizer isto na 1ª eco às 8 semanas??), fria e deu-nos a consulta a despachar (nem data de parto, nem esclareceu dúvidas etc). Tenho nova consulta em Agosto com outra médica, Drª Raquel Robalo por recomendação de amigas e ouvi falar bastante bem.

Cuf: recomendaram-me a Drª Isaura Martins, conseguia consulta em agosto, mas nunca frequentei muito este Hospital, não tenho grande informação.

Luz: muito difícil agendar consulta de Obstetrícia, neste momento a aguardar vaga com a Drª Cláudia Appleton se conseguir. Amigas recomendaram-me este Hospital e dizem que tem melhores condições do que os Lusíadas (mas já lá vão uns 5 anos).

Tendo isto em conta, nos fóruns que encontro as opiniões/feedback são já de uns anos atrás. Se alguém conseguir dar o seu contributo mais recente para me ajudar aqui a decidir, gostava de saber mais opiniões e experiências de cada uma (ou um papás também conta) de forma a tomar uma boa decisão. Obrigada 😄

Hcg levels

What was your beta at 24dpo or 5w1d?

First time being pregnant and I'm just looking for some reassurance: my first beta at 15dpo was 326.7 then 3 days later at 18dpo was 1283.2. Today at 24dpo (5w1d) is 17285,3. When I look this value up seems abobe average, my concern beyond being multiples (have twin sisters and cousins) is the relation between high hcg levels and down syndrom but that seems to play a part later on (around 11w?). So anyone with similar beta? How did your pregnancy go?

I'm shaking and crying right now guys, i just can't believe it, we've been trying for 13 cycles! We were supposed to go for IUI this month (husband has had varicocele surgery but SA came back with agglutination and we were told chances were low) but decided to wait untill end of the year and now this 🤍 wasn't even gonna test because i've been cramping and was so tired of getting bfn that i just couldn't see another one but cramps felt different from my usual pms and i've felt so tired and fatigued today that almost passed out at the gym and now at 8pm was just like "well whats another bfn? Just do it" OMG i'm so happy and praying for a sticky baby ❤️❤️
