My honest guess, my man would hover over her like a fly to the point Suzune gets irritated💀

He is just protective like that

What do you think about this idea ?

Would they make a good pair ?

Now in the LN.

Should he either get told or figuere it out.

How would he react ?

Honestly, the answers could go in various different ways.

Johan is undoubfully very intelligent and talented.

Just as a guy even, very educated and well-rounded.

And while he certainly does manipulate and stage, people exaggerate when they think Johan could "manipulate everyone"

That he is this genius manipulator that invades your mind and makes you do this or that.

Johan specifically preyed on vulnerable people. On children and mentally instable adults.

Using their greatest weakness against them.

People who would be considered "stable" ( whatever the hell that means) wouldnt be so easily swayed by him.

Contrary, Johan would unsettle them at some point. Especially if he has backround knowledge of you like in the case of Richard.

Richard was exremly vulnerable but imagine the situation if he wasnt. A random guy knocking on your door at night, inviting you outside, taking you to a bar for a drink,then proceeds to walk you to some roof.

Its not universally genius. Many people would stop before they'd even come that far with him.

Realistically, Johan always walks on a thin line between magnetic allure and unsettlement.

He might give an energy of a kind, calm, collected, non-judgemental, peaceful, angelic young man.

But this image can also be quickly taking a turn whenever his facial expression changes.

Or he begins to ramble and talk about Monsters, Names and etc.

Point is, Johan isnt as skilled as many give him credit for.

Especially lets say, if his target was a woman at night. A woman in the middle of the night might clock serial killer vibes of him faster.

The story wants us to question his true motivation until the end. Keeps making us question, if he is just performing or if he is genuine.

Personally, i actually never thought for a second that he isnt a real friend.

While never hating Kei, i do remember her relationship with Ayanokoji made her look quite clingy/cringey to me. The way she acted. She just seemed like she is living a little in a shoijo manga world.

And while i expected her to be more emotional over the break up, she actually looked more grounded.

And no, not because we ship Kiyozune. And no, not because she asked Horikita about Ayanokoji.

I dont want to give Kiyotaka credit for using her but she legitimately seems more collected and surprisngly not as fragile as one might have expected.

Let me say it like this:

Neither is Suzune incompetent nor is she some super leader.

Wasnt her point of character the fact that she gradually grows into a better version of herself ?

She became more and more competent and better over time.

And one of her flaws at the very beginning was her isolation and solo thinking. So for her to depend on others is actually improvement if anything.

And also for her to depend and take advice from someone ( Ayanokoji) who she knows can help and is competent and reliable, is just logical and right for a leader. People call it "getting carried" but its just using a good tool that you know will work.

Thats not a flaw.

I will agree fully that she isnt some "genuius super leader" like some want to insist, but she is very capable and determined for a leader.

I disagree with both extremes, that she is perfect or incompetent.

If anything, she is the most realistic.

If so, what about his last conversation with her in Volume 4 ? He didnt seem all that nostalgic.

Horikitas rejection of Sudo.

I remember when it was released. Many thought of it as just a beautiful scene and moment of Horikitas growth.

But i always thought that even the Kiyozune shippers underestimat the importance of that specific scene

.

And the fact that Kiyotaka was needed as a witness to the whole conversation. Because it was important for him to see it for the story overall.

As it literally puts Suzunes mentality on the opposite side of Kiyos.

So eventhough it is technically speaking Sudos confession, i always saw that scene as a Kiyozune one.

(btw. my hot take is still that when Sudos heartbeat was described, it was actually Kiyotakas.)

Everyone, i am an observer of the scene the same way you are. So i have no control over why/how.

As far as i remember, Kiyotaka and Suzune came closer again. They are friends but its pretty clear to both of them that there is more in the air which hasnt been discussed yet.

The classes have an exam again.

Kiyo and Suzune give eachother a heads up.

In the exam, different classleaders and students are put into something like a room maze/backroom.

One small room always has a door which leads to another. Every room almost identical. Like a mini jail version of an eerie WR.

Sometimes the room has a desk in the corner, sometimes not.

The students are all placed in different rooms and the exam begins.

They have to solve different riddles while also trying to get out. Cameras are placed in every room.

While they all do alright, there is also a no name student who is creepy looking and a weirdo.

After awhile, they can hear an announcement.

That every classleader must find and pair up with another student to solve a special exam that must be done in pairs.

They mention every name of a classleader and follow it up with a letter. They must find a student to pair up with whose first name begins with that letter.

Suzune hears her name and the letter.

She keeps moving and at one point, finds a guy.

He has his hood over his head, his hair all deshelved and gives an unsettling expression. She asks for his name and his name starts with the letter she needed.

So she purposes to move together, which he agrees.

♣️♣️♣️Scene switch

Kiyotaka is moving forward.

At some point, he arrives at a room where he sees the creepy dishelved guy. And a smaller figure with her hood over her head. The guy stands in the middle of the room, with his arm around the smaller figure, like he just hangs around it.

He greets Ayanokoji as if he is shivering and shaking, says that he and his partner need to keep going.

The guy moves towards the next door while Kiyotaka keeps his eyes on them and slowly you can see that his arm isnt just around her, but his whole hand is grasping and squeezing her neck and throat.

Just before the they can go through the doorframe to the next room, the creepy guys fear overwhelms him and he starts to sprint, letting go of her.

Suzunes hood falls of her head and she wants to immedeatly collapse. Kiyotaka catches her fastly from behind and holds her upright.

His left arm he puts up against the door frame, his body turned towards the wall. He pulls Suzune underneath his left arm, so her back is against his chest and his right arm is holding her upright at her waist.

So from the cameras perspective, it looks like they are both just staring centimeters away with their faces towards the wall, with Kiyotaka embracing Suzune.

Suzunes keeps hyperventilating, her body shaking hysterically, wanting to collapse.

Kiyotaka tells her to slowly breath with him.

In and out.

Suzune is still violently shaking, so Kiyotaka lowers his head to her ear and starts slowly counting.

At the same time, he keeps breathing in a regular pace and she slowly starts to regulate her breathing with his.

When he counts 30, she is visibly calmer.

She slowly moves her head to her right, bumping it slighty against his.

( This is when i woke up. I think my mind made a slight COTE/Tomodachi Game-esque fanfiction💀 )

So this is more like a fanfic idea, but not written. Whoever wishes to write it, feel free to use it.

It takes place currently in the LN or in future of their Year, so Y3.

But Kiyotaka and Suzune came closer again.

Started talking again. At first about exams but they couldnt help themselves and got back to their habits.

And acted like friends. They way they used to.

Bantering, roasting each other.

But there is obviously some things unsaid.

Things that they havent adressed yet.

An energy shift that both of them dont know how to describe nor place.

But Kiyotaka knows that he felt good with her.

Or more like, he doesnt necessarily explain it, he just felt amused with her. More instinctual.

And he genuinly felt more light and impulsive with her

Both of them met up late, when it was already dark, at the school indoor swimming pool. In their street clothes.

(Dont know why, plot i guess)

They stood beside eachother, looking at the pool. They discussed something class related shortly. But they started to banter.

Kiyo looked at the pool. And he felt like wanting to do something silly.

So he started taking his jacket off.

Suzune side-eyed him.

Then he started taking his shirt of and Suzune got startled and asked him what the hell does he think he was doing.

He looked at her, while undressing to his underwear, and explained something about high school life being about new experiences and recklessness.

That its natural to try and act on impulsivity.

So he suggested going to swim right at that moment.

And jumped into the water.

Suzune looked at him judgemental and like he was crazy. Kiyotaka, in the water, said that she should jump as well. To loosen up a little.

She said absolutley not.

He told her that she probably wasnt brave enough yet. Started to roast her that she was scared. He said that he thought that she outgrew her uptightness but guessed wrong. And kept challenging her.

Suzune, annoyed and irritated, started glaring at him.

And by preassure and frustration, started to undress angrily. Kiyo tried not to look at her.

Though Suzune looked at him like she wanted to murder him.

She undressed until she was in her underwear.

Then she jumped into the water.

When she swam up to the surface, she said that he is absolutly insane.

They started swimming for a bit.

After awhile, Suzune, while he was swimming on his back, started to splash water at him.

When he looked at her, she said calmly that it was payback for making her jump into to pool in the first place.

Kiyo looked at her and just splashed her as well.

And they started fighting.

At one point, after she swam near him to splash water in his face again, he decided to risk his life again.

With one hand, he grabbed her wrist, turned her around so her back was facing him and the other hand grabbed her side.

And he squeezed.

Suzunes whole body startled. She tried to fight it, to turn around but Kiyotaka didnt let her go from his grip. She just started resisting and tried to get away.

But this time, Kiyotaka kept going.

And kept tickling her sides.

Until Suzune broke out into reluctant laughter.

But what made her laugh stop, her body freeze and turn around wasnt her own laugh. But the vibration she felt in her back and the sound that came from him.

They both looked at eachother surprised.

Just a concept i thought about:

This is just ridiculous.

Absolutely insane.

It was already dark outside, and the corridors were silent. Sawaragi looked at her phone again, still hoping that the message might change.

Mission: Seduce Yuuichi Katagiri.

Sawaragi took a deep breath as she stood before Yuuichi's door. What were the organisers trying to achieve here? What was the point of this?

As she stood before his door, she lifted her hand and knocked twice. Sawaragi tried to think about it. She needed to convey it to Yuuichi. They'd have to find a way together.

The door opened.

Yuuichi was standing before her, looking down.

"What do you want?"

Right, he still needed to pretend.

"Can I come in?"

Yuuichi looked at her coldly for a second but opened the door for her to enter.

Sawaragi stepped in and walked to the middle of the room.

Okay, it's alright. Just think about it.

The mission said to "seduce" him. Whatever that's supposed to mean.

The organisers must want to see if she actually goes through with it. How far she manages to take it.

Oh, this is just humiliating.

Yuuichi closed the door, looked at her and smirked.

As he stepped closer he said: "Now that it's dark, you decided to come to my room? I knew you wanted my attention, but I didn't take you for the type to directly visit my room."

This.

She could work with that.

"I was actually inspired to see you."

Inspired.

Not wanted.

He must have heard it.

Yuuichi looked at her for a second. And understood.

He glanced at the camera for a moment.

Yuuichi took another step closer until they were standing right in front of each other. Sawaragi was trying to seem confident, but she knew she looked nervous. What exactly should she even do?

She looked up at Yuuichi, who just stood in front of her with his hands in his pockets.

"And what exactly did you hope to gain from this visit?"

He looked at her, and she got it. She needed to tell him so he could help her.

Shiho thought for a second. She hesitantly stepped closer to him and slowly raised both of her hands to his shoulders.

Yuuichi stiffened at her touch and pulled his hands out of his pockets. He glanced down at her but didn't push her away. She was so close that she hide her face in his neck.

Sawaragi slowly moved her hands from his shoulders to his chest, and she knew he could feel them trembling.

She whispered into his neck, "I don't have a specific goal in mind. It's vague."

Come on, Yuuichi. Help me out here.

But it seemed that Yuuichi understood as he slowly placed his hands on her waist.

So her mission wasn't specified.

Yuuichi slowly lowered his head onto her shoulder, burying it in her neck. Sawaragi could feel his words against her skin.

"Are there consequences?" he whispered.

His hands moved slowly up and down her waist.

Sawaragi shivered. She gave a small shake of her head.

From the cameras' perspective, it must have looked like she was succeeding her mission.

As Yuuichi kept his hands on her, lazily moving his head to the other side of her neck, he understood.

It was a completely vague task with no consequences.

But they hadn't just sent her to see if she would actually go through with it.

They wanted to see his reaction.

Whether he would treat her differently or stop her.

Yuuichi thought for a moment.

The mission had no other purpose than to put them both on edge.

As Yuuichi was thinking, he felt Sawaragi's hands travel upward. One rested on the back of his shoulder while the other was placed on his neck.

She whispered into his ear, "I don't know what to do."

But if that was all her mission said, they had no reason to be afraid.

While his head was buried in her neck, Yuuichi gently took her hands from his body into his own and straightened himself again.

He looked at her, smirked, and said loudly enough for the cameras to hear, "It is getting late, so you should go back to your room. If you ever wish to visit me again, don't hesitate."

Yuuichi squeezed her hands.

Sawaragi looked up at him.

He looked at her intently.

He was giving her an out.

She understood.

The mission was vague, and under the term "seduction," they couldn't really claim she had failed her mission.

She gave him a small nod.

They could do this.

They could win this game.

As a DN lover and someone who loves Light Yagami, i realized that Yuuichi as a character has a more compelling and charismatic effect on a viewer.

Light was amazingly written, no doubt about it.

Both these Characters have a similar effect on you, as you desperately want to know what they are planning.

What makes Yuuichi more seductive though, is not knowing how far he would actually go. Many times, his menace and craziness really does surprise and bewilder us. Literally shocks us on how insane he can actually be.

Also his sadistic side makes him look a little more dangerous and deranged than Ligh( Eventhough he funnily isnt.)

Also, and thats just my personal preferance (Not Lights fault, its just the storytelling), i like that Yuuuchi is hands on with his plans.

As in, he himself does what he has to do, no matter how insane. And is not afraid to carry out the consequences himself.

Light is behind a notebook, but thats just the story, no hate.

Edit: Also, i dont know if that makes Yuuichi more or less terrifying than Light, but in comparison to Light, Yuuichi is not delusional. Not about himself. Not about other people. Not about reality. Yuuichi is very grounded and based. In a way, that could be interpretated as even more diabolical, as Yuuuchi is completly aware on what he is doing and how he affects people but still goes through with it.
