Here is a little Yuuichi x Shiho fanfic i wrote. Since we have zero material anyway.

Just a concept i thought about:

This is just ridiculous.

Absolutely insane.

It was already dark outside, and the corridors were silent. Sawaragi looked at her phone again, still hoping that the message might change.

Mission: Seduce Yuuichi Katagiri.

Sawaragi took a deep breath as she stood before Yuuichi's door. What were the organisers trying to achieve here? What was the point of this?

As she stood before his door, she lifted her hand and knocked twice. Sawaragi tried to think about it. She needed to convey it to Yuuichi. They'd have to find a way together.

The door opened.

Yuuichi was standing before her, looking down.

"What do you want?"

Right, he still needed to pretend.

"Can I come in?"

Yuuichi looked at her coldly for a second but opened the door for her to enter.

Sawaragi stepped in and walked to the middle of the room.

Okay, it's alright. Just think about it.

The mission said to "seduce" him. Whatever that's supposed to mean.

The organisers must want to see if she actually goes through with it. How far she manages to take it.

Oh, this is just humiliating.

Yuuichi closed the door, looked at her and smirked.

As he stepped closer he said: "Now that it's dark, you decided to come to my room? I knew you wanted my attention, but I didn't take you for the type to directly visit my room."

This.

She could work with that.

"I was actually inspired to see you."

Inspired.

Not wanted.

He must have heard it.

Yuuichi looked at her for a second. And understood.

He glanced at the camera for a moment.

Yuuichi took another step closer until they were standing right in front of each other. Sawaragi was trying to seem confident, but she knew she looked nervous. What exactly should she even do?

She looked up at Yuuichi, who just stood in front of her with his hands in his pockets.

"And what exactly did you hope to gain from this visit?"

He looked at her, and she got it. She needed to tell him so he could help her.

Shiho thought for a second. She hesitantly stepped closer to him and slowly raised both of her hands to his shoulders.

Yuuichi stiffened at her touch and pulled his hands out of his pockets. He glanced down at her but didn't push her away. She was so close that she hide her face in his neck.

Sawaragi slowly moved her hands from his shoulders to his chest, and she knew he could feel them trembling.

She whispered into his neck, "I don't have a specific goal in mind. It's vague."

Come on, Yuuichi. Help me out here.

But it seemed that Yuuichi understood as he slowly placed his hands on her waist.

So her mission wasn't specified.

Yuuichi slowly lowered his head onto her shoulder, burying it in her neck. Sawaragi could feel his words against her skin.

"Are there consequences?" he whispered.

His hands moved slowly up and down her waist.

Sawaragi shivered. She gave a small shake of her head.

From the cameras' perspective, it must have looked like she was succeeding her mission.

As Yuuichi kept his hands on her, lazily moving his head to the other side of her neck, he understood.

It was a completely vague task with no consequences.

But they hadn't just sent her to see if she would actually go through with it.

They wanted to see his reaction.

Whether he would treat her differently or stop her.

Yuuichi thought for a moment.

The mission had no other purpose than to put them both on edge.

As Yuuichi was thinking, he felt Sawaragi's hands travel upward. One rested on the back of his shoulder while the other was placed on his neck.

She whispered into his ear, "I don't know what to do."

But if that was all her mission said, they had no reason to be afraid.

While his head was buried in her neck, Yuuichi gently took her hands from his body into his own and straightened himself again.

He looked at her, smirked, and said loudly enough for the cameras to hear, "It is getting late, so you should go back to your room. If you ever wish to visit me again, don't hesitate."

Yuuichi squeezed her hands.

Sawaragi looked up at him.

He looked at her intently.

He was giving her an out.

She understood.

The mission was vague, and under the term "seduction," they couldn't really claim she had failed her mission.

She gave him a small nod.

They could do this.

They could win this game.

Bold take but: Yuuichi Katagiri > Light Yagami

As a DN lover and someone who loves Light Yagami, i realized that Yuuichi as a character has a more compelling and charismatic effect on a viewer.

Light was amazingly written, no doubt about it.

Both these Characters have a similar effect on you, as you desperately want to know what they are planning.

What makes Yuuichi more seductive though, is not knowing how far he would actually go. Many times, his menace and craziness really does surprise and bewilder us. Literally shocks us on how insane he can actually be.

Also his sadistic side makes him look a little more dangerous and deranged than Ligh( Eventhough he funnily isnt.)

Also, and thats just my personal preferance (Not Lights fault, its just the storytelling), i like that Yuuuchi is hands on with his plans.

As in, he himself does what he has to do, no matter how insane. And is not afraid to carry out the consequences himself.

Light is behind a notebook, but thats just the story, no hate.

Edit: Also, i dont know if that makes Yuuichi more or less terrifying than Light, but in comparison to Light, Yuuichi is not delusional. Not about himself. Not about other people. Not about reality. Yuuichi is very grounded and based. In a way, that could be interpretated as even more diabolical, as Yuuuchi is completly aware on what he is doing and how he affects people but still goes through with it.

Since Kiyotakas height and weight was discussed earlier, here are some manga panels of Kiyotaka beside Horikita. These are probably the most accurate depiction of his height and built.

As we have established that LN Illustrations and their actual height number are not compatible and not consistant.

Anyone ever felt that Ayanokoji was wasted on the genre ?

When i first watched COTE, i remember not reading the genre. I just watched it because i liked protagonists like Light/Lelouch etc. and was told that i might like Ayanokoji.

So i legitimately thought that this will be more thriller-esque. I thought in AHNS, someone might get killed. That it is some edgy killer school. With intrigue, murder, assault...

So imagine my surprise when dramatic music kicks in when they write their regular school exams. And students breaking their brains over their school life.

And the highest stake is normal expulsion where you get simply sent home. I was so confused😭🤣

Now, i understand that COTE is more of a psychological Drama. But i have to say that the way Ayanokoji was written and built up, it feels almost anticlimatic and wasted. He was written like a complex sociopath, with terrifying potential to be an assasin. A machine who tries to tries to become human.

If he was simply given an school subject education, i guess i could see why he wanted to challenge his upbringing.

But with his combat skills and strategie scheming, he was literally built up to be a freaking killer machine and menace to society.

So i sometimes feel that his AHNS enviroment and the low stakes is a little waste to his psychological complexity. Or that his complexity would make the story way more interesting, if it didnt take place with such low stakes.

Although it is interesting and definetly refreshing that someone like him, is not written in a classical serial killer with a dark past way. That despite his upbringing, he has no desire to harm and is not your typical sociopath.

But it does feel sometimes that the real stakes and adults play for Kiyo would get only more interesting when he leaves school. When the enviroment isnt protected by school rules but completly unguarded.

The story is more of an exploration of his mind, i know. But damn, it could have been more intense.

I still believe he could kill someone currently without blinking though.

If COTE was from Suzunes perspective, Kiyotaka would seem creepy as hell

As much as we love Kiyo,

if he was seen as an antagonist or simply "friend" of the protagonist, he'd seem like a stoic weird sociopath. Unpredictable and confusing. Always scheming.

Fellas, what do we think about Kiyotakas current psychology ?

I remember years ago, when there was discussions if Kiyo was sociopath/psychopath. While we agree that he definetly isnt robotic, what would you say actually goes on in his mind ? As of currently ?

My take, while he does have the capability to truly care about someone, i still believe he could kill someone without an eye blink.

No hate to the others in the main sub, does none of them have reading comprehension skills ?

Personally, i could tell that Kiyo and Suzunes interactions and banter seemed unique and special from the very get go.

Remember few years ago, when Kei was "the best girl" and any mention of Kiyozune was ridiculised or "anime only" ?

And now look, gradually, more and more Kiyozune was built up.

Honestly, if you just look at their interaction, to me, Kinu was playing the long game. It was so obvious that for someone like Ayanokoji, his momemts with Suzune seemed way more natural and instinctual than with Kei or anyone else.

So, without hating on them, does no one read between the lines ? Didnt anyone ever read a complex novel ?

Ok, but can we talk about, how freaking tiny she looks in his arms ? And that was only season 1. Probably moreso now.

If something like that was to happen now, she'd probably look even smaller🤏

As of right now, do you still wish for Suzune to be with Kyiotaka ?

With everything tht is happening currently, how do you want Suzune to handle Ayanokoji ? And how do you wish she handles her own feelings for him ?
