I found an old beige Dell CRT monitor from May 1997 in my grandfathers garage, and he's letting me take it. Its my first time ever getting a CRT, what should I know?

I am only 17, and decided I wanted it because Ive been trying to build a retro gaming setup. Im concerned, because that monitor has been sitting in a musty garage in Oklahoma since 2001, with all the heat and cold, and Im not even sure if it'd work. Id definitely get new power cables for it, though.
