The other end of the 'reel' is getting a carabiner -> rope-> trolley-> cleat with a quick release slip knot.

Brachiopods and what else?
Found this fossil cluster and another in my local creek. I can identify a good amount (essentially just the brachiopods) but I'm sure I'm missing some stuff here namely the concave section. Found in Southern Ontario so clearly Devonian era.

Kastking Zephyr combo?
Is it actually worth picking up? BFS gear has extremely limited supply in Canada and it's hard to pick up without paying an arm and a leg here. Looks like Kastking has opened up a Canadian amazon store however and while I'd prefer to just grab the reel that isn't an option.

State of Samuel de Champlain?
Heading over there later this August. Just wondering what the state of the park is and what is actually accessible. Hoping to fish the stretch of the Amble du Fond in between the two campgrounds on the Jingwakoki side, but with that but if that side of the park closed for camping is it even accessible? Are the Campion Rapids accessible? I've tried phoning multiple times this week but no one ever picks up.

The number of people targetting bass out of season is actual gross.
FMZ 16 yesterday. Went to a provincial park I enjoy to panfish and counted at least 5 different groups specifically go on about targeting bass out of season. They were throwing ploppers, wacky worms, and the like. One group actually caught one dangling a worm in front of its face, and everyone celebrated. Let's all normalize reading the regs alright?
