first of all, I am not complaining, as I know I am very fortunate to make money at all on YouTube.

however, I checked my YouTube studio app yesterday and it said my estimated revenue payout would be around $5k. Then, two hours later it was $2.7k (for the same revenue period).

I sent screenshots to YouTube asking about what happened, but no resol yet.

does this happen often? I’ve never had it happen to me before.

so my gf and I moved to a new city a year ago and she’s been having a really hard time finding a job here.

she graduated with a degree in graphic design, and she has a Portfolio as well as some freelance work under her belt belt.

Every night, she cries in bed and says she feels behjnd in life and stuck. She’s 24 years old and currently works as a babysitter.

I feel terrible watching her cry and feel down on herself about this, because I don’t know How I can help.

She Applies on LinkedIn and most of the job listings are old, don’t reply to her, or reject her.

it doesn’t help that the entry-level job market in general (especially creative jobs) is taking a massive hit from AI and agents.

At this point, she Is not picky about where she works, but she says she would like to work in a creative position.

I suggested UX design, product design, packaging, or social media (since she has experience making content for a professional page)

how might she actually land a position or at least an interview for some of these positions?

what can she do?

she would love to connect with people in the industry or recruiters for advice.

People hate getting cold called, but can you imagine how much more they hate it when they realize it's not even a real person?!

I've been seeing ads for this AI BDR/SDR agent all over the bay area, and especially in San Francisco.

It's funny how their site shows how much they've raised rather than how much revenue they generate.

Is this who we're getting replaced by?

On Saturday night, I was out of town on a trip.

My gf said she was going out to the bars with her girlfriend.

I am fine with it because I know shes loyal.

But, that night, she said she was approached by a guy who complimented her and asked her for her number.
She told him she had a bf, and he told her “well he’s a lucky guy”. Yadadada.

His friend approached my gf’s friend whom we can call Emily.

Emily took a liking to the guy, and eventually both of the guys had joined my gf’s and Emily’s table. They apparently chatted for a long time (at least an hour) until the bar closed.

When the bar closed, they invited Emily and my gf to an after party at a warehouse in downtown.

My gf got in this fucking guy’s car with her friend, the guy who complimented her, and the guy her friend was taking a liking to. Total of 4 people.

She said she felt like it wasn’t the best idea but she was drunk and wasn’t making great decisions.

When they got to the after party, apparently they separated from the guys and then got an uber home at 3am.

When she told me all this, I was furious (and still angry with her).

I told her she put herself in a stranger’s car while she was drunk.

The guy who was driving was also drinking at the bar but idk how drunk he was.

And not that I control my gf or anything, but she definitely crossed a romantic line that I feel uncomfortable with.

She entertained these guys while they were chatting all night at the bar. They shared cigarettes with them and I’m sure they were laughing and joking a lot (which makes me angry thinking about it).

Then for her to get into their car with them while she’s drunk is so bad.

I really would’ve preferred if she had just told him:

“hey I have a bf, have a good night.”

The only defendable aspect from that night is that she was serving as a wingman for her friend Emily who was getting to know the other guy.

But still, I think it’s a huge problem and she has done similar things in the past.

I need to set a boundary without being controlling. How? How am I supposed to feel? What can I do from here? Is my anger warranted?

TLDR; gf got into a car with guys she met at a bar either her gf while they were drunk to go to an after party.

I'm looking for a thumbnail editor who can make enticing thumbnails like those similar to channels like Mike Shake and NealRed.

Preferably, I am looking to work with someone in the US.

So, I have 2 million subs.

I am very thankful and appreciative of my subscribers and views.

Most of my subs have come from my shorts, but they also watch my long-form videos.

The thing is; I only have 2 long form videos on my channel despite being on YouTube for over 4 years.

My niche is knife making, when my videos are me making new knives and then testing them out and explaining the process. I would say my audience comes to my channel because my videos are satisfying and they like learning.

I have a big fear though; running out of content ideas.

There are only so many knives you can make, and only so many things you can cut.

I fear that if I keep doing the same thing, people won’t give a shit after a while. Is this a valid concern?

Or am I being anxious and short-sighted?

In terms of my income, I make about $3k/mo from my Adsense only. I don’t have sponsors or brand partnerships.

However, I do sell my knives on m website which is another form of income. I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of how to diversify my income though. I just don’t know how.

What advice would you give me?

I am having a really hard time fully committing to this diet. I have been struggling with ibs d for years, so I know it will be worth it however. What things can I do to make it easier?
