I'm a promiscuous detective
I fuck around and find out
I fuck around and find out
So I was thinking about the early 90's cartoon Taz-Mania
For those too young(or forgot), Taz-Mania was a show on Fox Kids featuring the Tazmanian Devil, a.k.a.: Taz, of Looney Tunes fame.
The show featured not only Tax, but also a wide cast of original characters, helpfully described in the intro. Including his family. An energetic workaholic mother, a laid-back dad who's a walking Bing Crosby reference(and has Bob Hope for a brother), a bratty teenage sister and cute little brother. All of whom act like a modern, upper-middle-class surburban family, while Taz is pretty much the same whirlwind of appetite and fury he's always been. But he clearly loves his family, and they him. Other episodes have him working as a bellhop at a hotel, and the personalities among his employers, coworkers and customers.
So looking back, I was kind wondering if the show, at least the family segments, was maybe in any way similar to a family with a widely neurodivergent member. If a very silly and exaggerated example.
This music has been stuck in my head for decades.
