Pre 2001 Majestic Theatre Phantom of the Opera Poster

Today’s thrift store find. A beautiful poster encapsulating pre-9/11 NYC. The Twin Towers in the skyline and Phantom on Broadway. Seeing photos like this makes me wonder who was in those offices while the picture was taken, and if those people were there on that awful day.

What could this be?

I used a TEM to photograph an opossum brain sample fixed in resin and noticed this structure that appears to be mitochondria wrapped in a myelin sheath. I have searched and searched for what this could potentially be and what its function is since the photograph was taken in 2023. I can’t find any answers. Can Reddit help?

How to maximalist out my bathroom?

Hi! My SO and I recently bought our first house and I’ve been trying to figure out how to decorate my bathroom! The pictures are what I have done so far. I also got black knobs to replace the silver ones on the vanity. I’m having a hard time choosing an accent color and decor for the walls. What does reddit think?

Kids/tween book about a girl discovering a ghost in her new house

I remember that she finds a secret passageway in her new house and finds a ghost that she befriends. She’s takes the ghost to a scary movie. I have been searching for what book this is for YEARS with no clues.

Masters degree with a toddler

I got my undergrad a couple of years ago and afterward had a baby who passed in NICU and another baby who is now about 10 months old. I have been far removed from the educational world for this reason.

I recently began an internship with NPS and have really enjoyed stepping back in to the biology world. I would like to get a full-time job in something related to bio, but I’m not sure where to begin

Besides my degree, I have participated in two internships and some research for NPS. Would it be beneficial to get a masters degree? Would it be possible to balance a thesis and raising a child or should I go the no thesis route? Any and all advice is welcome.

What does Reddit think about this dress? I love it for the price, but does it look too casual? Please keep in mind that the corset isn’t laced all the way, so my chest would look a lot better if done so.
