It sounds stupid for a lord to be asking for tips but don't judge me. I feel decent as groot but often really lacking when it comes to knowing what to do. When should I place my walls, when should I not even bother, and how do i do so without getting in the way of my teammates? I know i can learn this all by playing and getting better, which is what I've been doing, but there's no harm in asking for a bit of help.
You might consider this interaction bait but I'm a sucker for simple designs in this game, and considering most people don't share simple, I elected to ask for them.

As someone who just picked up this game with the steam sale, tell me stuff you'd want a newbie to know if they were to be in your game.
I've been playing groot for a second now but still feel like I'm lacking some of the basics. How do I know when to place my walls, how do I avoid getting in the way of my team, and are there any tips on how I make sure the wall goes where I want it to? Way too often are they like 6 meters behind the person I'm trying to trap.
What should and should I not do? What niche features should I know about?
Could someone explain to me the good things to buy during Siege operations? I tend to just hog all my points because I have no idea wtf to buy and I feel like my teammates hate me :(
