R2H. Little more advanced than a beginner (2months serious but with some experience prior) purchased my surge 2mos ago and am averaging 165 with it. Im not seeing too much action on the back end that I would like. I’ve been throwing from the 10 to just experience any sort of hook with my lanes. Any contact with the middle and it mostly just carries through. A lot of old timers even tell me the lanes are tricky if you hit the center so it’s not just me. I just want something that can go left to right. Ball speed is about 16 MPH rev rate is unknown. I don’t regret the surge and will use it when needed but I want something I can throw through the center of the lanes and get reaction. I understand I can sand the surge but in all honesty I just want another ball…… last minute thought I had while writing this, would a solid or another pearl solve what I’m looking for? I understand the surge is an entry ball and is weaker but I’m still trying to gather as much knowledge I can. Thank you for any input.
