23 M looking to make new friends

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m 23M from Huddersfield and looking to meet some new people and make genuine friendships around the area. I’m pretty easygoing and up for chatting about pretty much anything. I enjoy playing badminton, going out for food, watching movies, going for drives, and just chilling and having a good conversation.
Would be nice to meet people around a similar age from Huddersfield or nearby. If you’re also looking to make some new friends, feel free to drop me a message! 😊

Anyone switched from asylum to FLR(M) after marrying a British citizen? Looking for advice.

Hi everyone,
I’m preparing an FLR(M) application as the spouse of a British citizen. My asylum appeal is still ongoing, and my solicitor has advised that my asylum claim can be withdrawn when the FLR application is submitted.
I’m hoping to hear from anyone who has gone through a similar process.
I’d appreciate any advice on:
What evidence did you include to make your application as strong as possible?
Were there any unexpected issues during the application?
Did the Home Office request any additional documents?
Is there anything you wish you’d known before applying?
I’m not asking about processing times—I’m just looking for practical advice and experiences from people who have been through this route.
