Familiarity with VZAN Carbon Road Wheels?

I live in São Paulo and I’m considering buying a carbon wheel-set from VZAN for my road bike. Mercado Libre is a possible vendor.

Curious to hear if others have had good/bad experiences with (a) VZAN carbon wheel-set, and (b) purchasing them from Mercado Libre.

Gear advice for newbie podcaster

Looking for some newbie podcast gear advice.
I have successfully published a few episodes of a podcast for my work. It’s a lot of fun and learning a lot.

I currently have a simple setup with two USB mics (Blue Snowball Ice) and connect them to GarageBand as an aggregate device. The outcome is good but not optimal for 2 person interviews.

I want to upgrade to XLR dynamic mics and use some kind of interface. I’m considering something like the Zoom Podtrack P4 and some Zoom mics.

Here’s my main question:
Is there a notable difference if I use a dedicated device like the Podtrak P4 versus if I were to use a portable recorder like the Zoom H6 or H4 and used it as an interface? How about considering something like the Focusrite Scarlett device. Am I correct in that the limitation of the Focusrite is that it doesn’t actually record and I NEED to have a recorder or laptop connected?

Obviously I’m relatively new to this. I don’t really want to squabble about the “best mics” or that kind of thing, I’m more interested in ideas about general setup and workflow to level-up my podcast game.

Thanks!

Lynskey QR to Thru-Axle Conversation

I have a Lynskey Cooper CX that I purchased new from Lynskey Bicycles in 2015/16. This was before road bikes came standards with thru-axle setups. I see that Lynskey has QR --> Thru-Axle conversion kits on their website. I'm curious is anyone out there has any experience with converting their Lynskey QR setup to thru-axle and if you have any tips or important considerations for me to keep in mind as I explore this option.

On a related note, is there a known way to convert my current Lynskey carbon QR fork to a thru-axle configuration? Many thanks for any help on this.

Wheel Upgrade?

I have a titanium Lynskey Cooper gravel/cross bike. I use it primarily as a road bike.

I want to upgrade my wheels to some nice, light, strong carbon wheels. The issue I’m facing is that just about all options on the market right have thru-axle hubs and my bike is a little bit older so still have QR hubs. It seems like getting a whole new bike is a major over-reaction to this issue.

Would love to get some advice.
Buy rims and built them up? Rims and hubs? Any good options available?
