Best Marriott Relaxing Resorts

I’m looking for some Marriott resorts where I can go lay by the pool, relax, get drinks, with good food (key). I’m in need for a lay by the pool trip and I’m not sure where to go.

I saw The Phoenician in AZ, is that a good spot to go for a weekend getaway to relax?

Open to suggestions - price and location doesn’t matter, please suggest where you have had the best experience! I’ll add it to my list if it’s a bit far away for a quick trip 😊

Thank you

*edit - i understand Arizona and other places is hot in the summer, that’s fine. I don’t want to get posts telling me not where to go because of the heat. I travel to hot places quite often, so I get it. Appreciate it!

GTX

Anyone else feeling that GTX isn’t enjoyable anymore?

Lately I’ve been feeling the workouts are too quick, I don’t have enough time in the strength section to properly lift without having to switch back to the treadmill or to another move. I understand they’ve got different goals, but I’m struggling to enjoy it like I used to.

Plus, the downtown chicago location removed a ton of strength focused classes, so you don’t have a ton of options to lift properly anymore.

ORD UA Premier Access TSA Line Going Away?

Question for anyone that might know, is ORD removing the Premier TSA line? I was just there and they have “Clear+” lines and machines to automatically scan in and no signage for United premier anymore.

The TSA agents weren’t really sure either, but said that eventually everyone will move to that line for security. I also can’t find anything online, figured they would’ve had some press about it.

Any intel would be helpful to mentally prepare for future trips - thank you!

Love Citizen M

Just want to put it out there for others who are curious, as a solo traveler, I love this hotel! The staff has always been accommodating and the rooms are perfect for what I need. Super clean and comfortable beds too! The 24/7 food and bar are great when I need something. Plus the doors actually lock!

To be fair, I haven’t stayed in any American locations, only Europe! It’s nothing super fancy, but I love it! Amsterdam location is top notch!

Let me know if you have any questions ☺️
