Anyone who brought their car freshmen year think it was worth it?

I was able to get a spot reserved at the rosemary street garage for 1700$ for the entire academic year (haven’t paid yet). Do yall think it’s worth it to have a car on campus first year? Obviously wouldn’t use it for campus transportation, but more so going into Durham and Raleigh. I’m just afraid I’ll be board and run out of things to do on the weekends.

Request a student product change?

I currently have a capitol one unsecured platinum card with a 300$ limit and about 4 months worth of usage. I regret not choosing the student card like the savor one or quick silver. Has anyone ever been able to request a product change over to one of these student cards without a hard inquiry or new account?

I'm confused on the whole pre orientation stuff?

I have done everything on the first year checklist and all my final transcripts are in, and I've completed Carolina Countdown. Some sections of the UNC site are saying to complete a pre-orientation advising session and to complete modules. I have no idea where any of this is. When do we get assigned an advisor? is most of this stuff explained well at orientation or should I already know this info...

How do big distributors (specially RSR Group) handle pallet orders to residential addresses.

My business is starting to take off after 4 years of hard work. I am starting to order more product, and the most recent order consisted of 10 50lb large boxes that the poor FedEx driver had to unload. I do not know how palletized orders work. I have a big enough driveway, but no loading dock of any sort. I also don’t know how FedEx would go about unloading it, or would they use a specialized truck?

I’m sure I could find this answer elsewhere, but it’s very specific as it’s technically an ammunition delivery to a business, but at a home address.

Private parking?

Any news on where to find private parking off campus for first years that need to bring a car. I work for a company as an intern and they have an office near Durham, but I will need to get there somehow as the bus routes do not cover every square inch. I don't even care how much the spot is, I just would like to find something.
