What's up with the chick fil a's

It's always boggled me that the chick-fil-a on Chipman spent all that time under construction to expand with that second drive-thru lane but then literally does not use it at all, it's always coned off. So now we have two chick-fil-a's and the second drive-thru lane only lasted the first few weeks and now they always have it coned off too? Especially with the new one having that lane designated specifically for mobile ordering it completely defeats the purpose of mobile ordering when they just have you wait to get into the singular lane with everyone else anyways... idk I just wanted to see if I was the only one confused and a bit frustrated about that 😂

Like it's not that big of a deal but everytime I happen to order from there I'm always like "why do they do this??"

How much will their show differ from a solo MCR show as a festival Headliner?

I'm a massive fan and have never seen them live. I really wanted to catch them this tour. I live in KC so the only options for me were really Colorado which is a 9 hour drive or Louisville which is 8 hours but a festival and for the price I'm also getting L.S. Dunes, Sleeping with Sirens, The Used. It was kinda a no brainer. I'm a little disappointed though that they won't have the b-stage and the elexecution. I looked up a festival they did last year and they just did their "b stage" set covered in darkness on the main stage which is... idk a little disappointing, like I'd still like to see them while they're playing 😂 is it all that much of a shift where I'll be second guessing not going to Colorado instead?

STUCK AT BARTON-ROSS COMPLEX. NEED HELP

My band is stuck at the Barton Ross Complex in KCK. We were taking photos at wyandotte swim club, when we showed up the facility was open with people playing baseball. We have gone back to our cars and the gates are locked with all of our vehicles stuck inside and no water and no way of getting home. We have been unsuccessful in finding any contact at all.

UPDATE: The owner coincidentally showed back up as I was trying all ten thousand options to his combination lock and was surprisingly very cool about it. He even asked us what our band name was. We have water and we're good now. Thank you to anyone who tried to help.

Did Father of All ever grow on you?

Been a huge Green Day fan for basically my entire life. Always viewed FOA as the "we pretend that one doesn't exist" record. Idk why but today I had an itch to listen to some Green Day tracks that I don't usually listen to all that often, ultimately ended up putting on FOA out of complete curiosity and tbh it's actually not that bad.

I feel like it's a mix of Foxboro Hottubs, the trilogy era and even hints of whats to come with Saviors. I think at the time I definitely just listened to the title track, heard the falsetto vocals and went "this isn't Green Day" and turned it off without giving it a chance.

Is it my favorite? No. Not by a long shot. But I guess viewing it in the perspective of "hey it's something new and different that I don't normally get from this band" was refreshing. I'm definitely going to revisit some of these tracks a lot more though now.

Elvis cover?? Who knew??

Been a huge fan for a long time and I thought I've heard every song, every b-side etc. How is it that I'm just now discovering that during the 21CB era they recorded a cover of That's Alright Mama? Damn, how odd, anyone else just finding this out for the first time? I know they did a lot of recorded b-sides and covers during this era but how were they originally released and listenable? Seems like a lot of them completely flew under the radar

For a complete beginner, what board do I buy?

I'm 27 years old. I've never skated before, been thinking about getting into it. Are any of the Amazon boards any good? What brands would you suggest? Also too, the plan would be to jusy cruise around in my garage until I felt comfortable enough to go out anywhere. Any tips or advice?

As a musician I've always loved seeing "the process" ya know. Two that stick out to me is Green Day's Heart Like a Hand Grenade, Another State of Mind or even Michael Jackson's This is It. Any others in that vein either for an album or tour or whatnot?
