The bagel store on the corner of 78th and 1st has been closed with paper on the windows for a few days now. No signs outside saying anything. Does anyone know if it is closing or if it is renovations? If it’s closing I hope the new place is something good!!!!

I live in a 1 bedroom (which is basically a studio due to it's french doors) and my apartment always has a smell lingering for days after cooking.
I cook mostly chicken and vegetables and I swear it lingers, especially the few times i have cooked ground beef. I use the overhead exhaust fan while and after cooking. I do open the windows to air it out but the kitchen is on the opposite side of the window which is in the bedroom.
I have wiped down my kitchen and keep it clean with no grease. Does anyone recommend an air purifier or something to help with this? Thank you!!
