I've tried Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. I've tried clearing my cache, disabling dns, manually typing http instead of https, every combination of every suggestion in my search to get back on ankergames, both .net and .to, and none of it is working. It used to just be go to the site and everything was fine. Nothing changed on my end, and yet I cannot access it. Clearly this is happening for multiple other people as well, hence the recent uptick in searches about this, and multiple posts on multiple subreddits, and yet every comment just says "yeah it's fine it's a you problem" and offers absolutely nothing of value and no hint or assistance or any help whatsoever.

This is maddening, and being gaslit left and right is making it even worse...

I'm loving the game so far, only a few hours in, mostly exploring a few systems and eventually New Atlantis and the Well (which is my favorite so far). Eventually I start getting to know the ship builder and looking through available ships on New Atlantis and Neon, and I can't help but notice how clean it all is...

I looked all over in the game, looked through wikis, searched all over the unhelpful AI hellscape that is the Internet, and I can't seem to find anything about older-looking, dirtier, grungier kinda ships or interiors, like something you'd see in Cowboy Bebop or Firefly or Star Wars. I was really hoping to roleplay a Space Western vibe, but the ships are just too fancy and clean to vibe with that vision.

I can't be the only one out here wanting to fly a "bucket of bolts" or some fixer-upper kinda ship, can I? I couldn't even find any mods on the Nexus that scratched this particular itch.

Please tell me I'm just missing something here, and that my dreams aren't crushed!

Completely clean install via Steam. Click Play and I get this error. Verify game files and it says one file failed, and this process just repeats. Uninstalled/reinstalled several times and the same issue keeps repeating.

Did something happen with some sort of update recently? I've done literally nothing accept click Install and then click Play. What could I possibly be doing wrong?
