Maybe it’s just a popular head canon, but I swear everywhere I go I’m always hearing some variation of people calling Mitsuki Abusive. Like down right awful. Their only point of evidence is ALWAYS the clip of that house visit on the couch “if you hadn’t been so damn weak you never would’ve gotten caught and caused all that trouble.”
Yeah, awful thing to say to a boy who just got back from a kidnapping and his idol just lost his powers saving you.
But like— Mitsuki isn’t even abusive. At best she fucked up or maybe the Japanese version had it phrased differently and the English translation just sucks. Jumping the gun and calling her abusive is kinda insane. The story has proven over the course of her screen time that she cares for the kid even if he’s a major pain in the ass to raise.
