*UPDATE: SilentOverlay is going out to real-world testers...

Not an Ad:

💥SilentOverlay 0.4.0 Preview1/Phase2 is officially being shipped out to beta testers!💥

This is the first build where the bigger vision really starts to come together: not just a dashboard for one screen, but a multi-screen command layer for Windows setups.

Highlights:

  • CommandOverlay is the full command deck for Xeneon Edge-style displays, mini screens, and secondary monitors.
  • SliderOverlay is the side-panel experience for everyday setups where you want quick access without taking over the screen.
  • Preview1/Phase2 is focused on real-world testing across different displays/setups, touch and mouse behavior, mode switching, launcher shortcuts, news, weather, media controls, and general stability.

Still early. Still a lot to build.

What’s next:

• More customization: preferred panels, news categories, stock watchlists, sports teams, weather location, launcher shortcuts, icons, and layout preferences.

• Broader display support: mini screens, vertical panels, secondary monitors, ultrawides, touch displays, and future CompactOverlay layouts.

• Deeper controls: stronger launcher management, richer media/audio controls, better command actions, and more ways to make SilentOverlay feel native to your setup.

Full update is on the website, but Preview1/Phase2 is the first step toward making SilentOverlay a real multi-screen command layer for Windows.

Appreciate everyone who has followed along, joined the community, reached out to test, or given feedback. 🙏
