Toddler constantly congested/runny nose and enlarged tonsils? Anyone dealt with this?
Has anyone dealt with enlarged tonsils and adenoids in a toddler? My daughter constantly has a runny nose, sounds congested almost all the time, and her tonsils always seem inflamed. Over enlarged tonsils and adenoids run pretty heavily in our family, so I’m wondering if that’s what’s going on with her too.
Her pediatrician wants us to see an ENT, but the waitlist here is insane right now and they said it could be close to a year before she can get in.
I’m mostly wondering if there’s anything that helped your kids while waiting for appointments. Did anyone notice things like mouth breathing, snoring, bad sleep, constant congestion, etc before getting answers? Just feeling stuck waiting this long and would love to hear other experiences.

This is Cricket, AKA "P Pot" - he won't stop marking! How do I stop him?
I moved just this week into a new house and because my grandmother passed away a month ago, I inherited Cricket - he's cute, he's super small, and he marks everywhere. I can't get him to stop. How do I stop him from marking up my house everywhere? I won't give up on him at all since he's cute and he was my nana's dog, but how does one stop this guy from creating yellow puddles everywhere?
