Equestrian-inspired saddle bag. Buttero leather & solid brass.
Finally sharing this piece here. Really happy with how the saddle-style shape and brass hardware turned out. It’s made from Buttero leather, which has such a great feel and structural finish.
Let me know what you think of the design!
Close-up on a dark brown brogue belt✨
Digging through some older photos and wanted to share this one. Made from Dark Brown Buttero leather with solid brass stirrup buckle. Every single brogue detail and stitching hole was punched completely by hand. Hard work, but it aged beautifully!
Summer bucket bag
Wanted to share one from my latest project. It’s fully handmade, traditionally saddle-stitched, and lined with smooth green leather. The white stitching against the tan took forever, but it was totally worth it. What do you guys think of the color combo?

Handcrafted Summer Belt: Biscuit Buttero + Racing Green Lining
Wanted to create a sleek, lightweight belt for the warmer months. Biscuit Walpier Buttero paired with a Racing Green automotive leather lining. Hand-cut and saddle-stitched. It has quickly become my personal favorite daily driver this summer. ☀️

Confident with my leathercraft, but still learning photography. Tried to capture an old money/preppy vibe in natural light. Thoughts?
Hi everyone! I’m a leather craftsman based in Scotland. When it comes to making high-end, hand-stitched leather goods, I feel confident in my skills, but product photography is a completely different beast for me.

I wanted to get some honest feedback on these shots of my latest bucket bag. I was going for a warm, vintage "old money / preppy" look, using the harsh afternoon sun to create deep shadows and highlight the tan leather and green interior.

Shot on a Vivo X200 Ultra, completely unedited, just cropped.

What do you think about the composition and the lighting setup? Any tips on how to improve?

British countryside
I hope this is not too equestrian for this group? 😅 Leaning into some British country heritage vibes with a saddle bag I hand-stitched myself.

Thought this sub might appreciate the old-world aesthetic. Let me know what you think!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Finishing up this hand-stitched pebbled leather bag in my workshop.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been quietly following this sub for a long time, learning from all your amazing projects, but I finally decided it’s time to share some of my own work.
I’m Paweł, crafting out of Scotland. Here is a piece currently on my bench – a saddle-style bag made from a beautiful peacock green pebbled leather. Every single stitch is done entirely by hand (saddle stitched), and it features a lock mechanism.
Right now, I’m just putting the final touches on the edge coats, and it should be completely ready soon.
Since this is my first time posting here, I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts. How do you feel about the construction and the green/silver combination? Any tips or critiques from fellow makers on how to elevate the finish even further next time?
If anyone wants to see how it turns out or check out my other leather gear on Insta.
Have a lovely week!
