Story of Two Different Jim’s

My good friend Jim’s mom had dementia and passed a few years ago. Before she died she developed this behavior where she talked about there being two different Jim’s - a “good Jim” and a “bad Jim”. My friend would visit her and she would tell him that the “bad Jim” had visited earlier that day and how she didn’t trust him, doesn’t like him, etc. This continued for a while. When she spoke with him he was always the “good” Jim. Just wondering if this is a common dementia related symptom that anyone else has experienced. It always struck me as very interesting, as my friend was a pretty troubled guy and maybe this was on some level her way of coming to grips with his issues and very obvious shortcomings.

Extra/Bonus episode

Huge fan of the show and loved Season 5. We haven’t watched the bonus episode that was released before Season 5, which I understand is more historical about Richie and Michael. Do you think we should watch this, or is it superfluous, having now watched all 5 seasons? How strongly do you feel we need to watch it?

Clemmy’s - Waretown

Off LBI, up 9N.
No reservations. BYOB.
I’m hesitant to publicize this place any more than it has gotten in the last few years, but it’s absolutely phenomenal. Prob the best restaurant we have eaten at in last 10 years. Felt like I dining at The Bear. Just amazing. And a small staff of great people.
If you know you know. And now you know.

Cam Skattebo

Is it just me, or does it seem like a near certainty that this guy is going to self destruct it some not good way? He just seems so freaking absurdly unstable. Even for the NFL.

Hollywood Bowl - Is this a joke?

Went to check out available seats for the Saturday Hollywood Bowl show and …. this is what I get returned as “best available seats.” Please tell me this is some kind of put on.

63 year old fan

I am prob older than most people on this board. I fucking love the Counting Crows, but hardly anyone I know in my age group (besides my wife) is a big fan. I find it so odd. Even among friends who are pretty musically savvy. And don’t get me started with the folks who have thrown in my face the idea that they are “one hit wonders”. Yeah dummy. . .” They literally have dozens of amazing songs. Ah, sometimes it just doesn’t pay to get old.
If anyone cares, my fav songs most days are Recovering the Satellites and Sullivan Street.

Two spaces after each sentence

Maybe classic boomer bs, but I am so used to inserting two spaces after each sentence. How I have been writing on a computer for 30 years. Legal profession. Question to the other side: does this genuinely annoy you? I just think it makes things a little more relaxed to read. Can’t see ever changing.
