Can someone help me in understanding what this weapon slot is? I've seen it in a number of weapons I've crafted. Are they only for specific types of weapons? Do they appear when you hit a certain level, or progress in the game?
Is anyone out there working on; or know of, a mod that would let me create a ship from scratch (i.e. from the ground up). You buy/claim a shipyard, which has access to a shipbuilder team that have access to any/all parts from where you have found parts from (Key, Falkland, Stroud, etc.). You select "Build New Model" and you are immediately taken to an empty grid where you can build, modify, etc. to your heart's content.
Just kinda not liking the only option is buying a ship and modifying it from that point. Would rather start with a blank slate.
I'm currently not at my console or PC, but I'm curious to know if anyone knows which mod(s) can cause the game to crash when you're attempting to land on Akila to start The Empty Nest; or prevent you from using your workbenches. I tried to install mods from my weapons workbench and it wouldn't let me--even though I had the appropriate skill and components at the ready.
