trying to buy a model 3

HI all,

I am looking to buy a model 3, to replace my current car due to diesel prices and running costs. (running at abut 9%/100km)
i am looking to find out the following:

what is the real electricity usage on highway (130-140 kmh)? is 15kw/100km realistic?
what is the real usage in mixed driving?

what happens during winter? (at 1 degree celsius) how much will the car use in that scenario?

basically, some REAL data is all i miss to complete my calculations

i am looking for highway data mostly, as i expect to consume less if it isn't on the highway?

speed limits in Romania:

130kmh highway
100kmh other roads
50kmh city

thank you all

ajutor achizitie auto 30k EUR

Pareri? sfaturi? hate? totul e acceptat :))

what to learn and what to buy - gear for rescue

Hello all,

Long story short, i had to call for rescue this weekend on a via ferrata because my girlfriend got too tired, nervous, and didn't want to continue. we only had to descend a 15 meters vertical section to get to our exit.

what i am looking for in the future:

  1. to learn rescue technique to be able to rappel her for sort distances (let's say max 30 meters)
  2. to learn how i can assist her in climbing.
  3. what i should actually buy and carry with us on a via ferrata .

we will both go and take classes for this, but i first want to hear it from you as i don't want to spend time and money on rock climbing classes that i'll never use ( i did not found any dedicated via ferrata rescue classes in my area, so we will take rock climbing classes to learn ropes/knots/devices/what to do and when)

my main questions are:

  1. rope: static/dynamic and what length and size (based on research so far, should be static)
  2. belay device, which one ( i think petzl reverso should be the one, as i can also assist her in climbing? )
  3. slings: how many, what lengths?
  4. can i assist her only on 100% vertical sections, or are there ways to help her on section where the VF cable goes diagonally?

i will also ask these during the classes, and many more, but 10 opinions are always better than 1

Thank you very much for taking the time to keep us safe and alive :)

choosing the headlamp

Hi All,

after some research i have 2 options for a headlamp:
nitecore nu20 classic 32 EUR
fenix HL17R 40 EUR

any1 got them? any reviews?

i kinda prefer the fenix as it seems that it can do full power for way longer time.

any other recommandations for under 45 EUR and under 100 grams?

Thanks

pre-made itineraries for sale

Question for Europeans mainly.

I was recently looking of hiking in france/italy or other countries, but due to commuting costs i'd like to go withouth a tent to save on flight prices.

i was trying to find a place with premade itineraries.
something like:
day 1 you walk x kms then sleep in that city
day 2 you walk x kms then sleep in that city

and so on.

i would even pay a few bucks for something like this, it will save hours of researching for the tracks and accommodation

Do you have any idea if something like this exists anywhere on the internet?

P.S. Something like stevenson trail, but without sherpas movings backs so it is fairly cheaper

later edit: i am also interesting in any storage space for suitcases, in cities where you start hiking. as the cheapest option for me is a checked in 20kg suitcase with all equipment included into that

About reporting players

Can anyone (maybe someone who is involved in developing LMU, if any are around here) explain me what is the logic for a 2 hours cool down before I can report a player?

Do you guys (developers) really expect us to remember the name, and the exact race of the driver that did something stupid for 2 hours?

I do dailys, that's a 30 minutes ish event. I do about 4 of them in a 2 hours time frame.

If only one driver does something stupid each race, that is 4 names to remember. Maybe last race was just before going to sleep, I have to sleep with that name in my mind

Please, let us report the drivers after the events end, not with a 2 hours cool down
