Why is the Sponge Striker considered so bad?

Literally every tierlist I see has the two weapons at dead last. Why is that? I've just seen a bit of gameplay and it looks good as it attacks fast. Isn't there any build that makes the weapon viable? I don't own any of the dlc's so I don't know much about the weapon? I mean, it looks fun 🤷‍♂️

What do we think?

I am not sure if I wanna keep crit on my whirlwind as I already have voidstrike and unchanting as main damage source. And I know that it is not the best build with a voidstrike 3 whirlwind but I dont really care about that its still good enough for me

I accidentaly placed a floor underground or something and I dont know how to delete that. I cant target it and the icon is annoying. Is there any mechanic or something to delete that? Im new and I dont know any tricks if there are any
