UPDATE: I did not realize that you could catch Cyndaquil in the Indigo Disk DLC! Never mind!

Cyndaquil was my first ever pokemon (Silver was my first game), but I never felt attached to Typhlosion. However, I ADORE Hisuian Typhlosion, and now I would like to get my starter as he always should have been. I have all my main team in luxury balls, and to my disappointment it appears that the only legal way to get a Cyndaquil in a luxury ball was to get one in a terra raid that is now over (side note: I loath real-time locked features in single player games).
Is there anyone who has any such Cyndaquil-line pokemon? I'm not really sure what I have that you might want, but I would be willing to give almost anything I have for one!

I was just thinking, could the shire folklore about the Tooks having a fairy ancestor (which the narrator and hobbits reject as being “ridiculous”) be a half remembered oral history of half-elven descent.

We know that Tolkien himself used “fairy” and “elf” interchangeably in his early writings.

Elros chose mortality, so presumably there is are lines of humans who descend from his offspring who could trace their lineages back to the elves (despite being human for millennia).

The early hobbits were humans. Although they may have been a branch of humanities apart from others since the first age, even back when Sméagol lived they do not appear to have quite become modern humans yet. Presumably before that they were even more life other humans.

Of the first three clans\branches of hobbits, the Fallohides spent the most time with elves and their traits were the most elf-ish.

Might a human descendant of Elros have had children with an early proto-hobbit-human and had offspring who were the ancestors of the Fallohides?

If so, then this folklore of a “fairy” ancestor might be a playful memory of Elros’ ancestors (or some un-noted blending of elves and men).

Speculative? Extremely. Would I propose this theory in an academic article? Not in a million years.

But I’m interested: does anyone know if this could have been the case? Do known timelines work out?

I am not looking for something ostentatious like sequins, but I do not know how to describe it. On rare occasion I have seen black fabric (often on women's' dresses) that just has these tasteful sparkles and glimmers in it. I am looking for a tie like that. Which looks black but has sparks and glitters of white light when the light hits it the right way. Like the stars in the night sky.

Sequins would be overdone and tasteless in this context (I am male and giving a university lecture on the Magic Flute and want to wear a tie that is an homage to the Queen of the Night).

For years I have wanted a mod that allows you to become a court wizard (for proof of my long-standing desire, see my post from 7 years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/9i2yp9/mod_request_become_the_court_wizard/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button ).

I have never made mods beyond a few tweaks to NPC appearances and swapping statues in some of other people's house mods when using them in my game. I am not very well-versed in the creation kit, although I know how to use it (a bit anyway) and I know NOTHING about scripting - nor is it a skill that would remotely benefit me professionally. So while I am willing to learn the most basic of things, I do not have the time to invest in learning how to do so at any high level in this period of my life (I need to write two history books and a article this year and translate a pile of Latin... so leaning to script will be maybe something for retirement). Also, I am virulently and morally against using AI, so that is out.

All this said, the most basic version of this mod would be as follows, do you think this would be possible to do with limited scripting and what would be the steps?

1. Approach the jarl and have a dialogue option where you ask if they are in need of a court wizard and the jarl says "yes" and hires you.

2. Have a radiant quest system in place where he will give you a daily quest (or maybe just unlimited quests if that would need less scripting) such as:
   a) enchant a X weapon with Y enchantment with Z number of recharges (ie. enchant an iron sword with at least 30 fire damage).
   b) create a potion/poison of X with Y degree of intensity.
   c) travel to another hold and cast a calm spell on their jarl to manipulate them/make them forget an insult).
   d) cast a healing spell that heals X HP on the jarl of Falkreath so as to help extend his youth and maintain his vigour.

3. You receive payment in gold (with an option to get reduced gold but added paper and ink for those using spell research).

4. In a Version 2.0: Maybe I could try my hand at making a simple house mod by adding a cellar to the jarl's longhouse which he gives you to live in as his court wizard, since all the bedrooms in his longhouse have been claimed.

The aim of this mod is to add non-combat uses of your magical skills so you can role play a court wizard who doesn't get their hands dirty (unless they choose to). It would also give specific goals to encourage you to level your magic abilities (if the jarl asks you to do something that you are not yet skilled enough to do).

TLDR: How hard would it be, and could someone walk me through what I would need to do, to create a mod that adds dialogue, adds a radiant quest giver and new radiant quests with requirements to make specific potions or put specific enchantment on specific items), and gives the player gold and/or items as rewards for the radiant quests.

I remember that you travel through the woods with tall pines to find it and there are tall pine trees close about. I am pretty sure that there is this little rope-railed boardwalk overhanging the cliff where you can stand to get beautiful views.

I do not think it is Cliffside Estate due to the lack of pines. But it was a lot like it.

Quaint Cabin looks SO much like what I remember, but the house was not Stormcloak themed.

If anyone can help it is driving me crazy! I have decided that my player will flee his responsibilities mid-way through this play through and "live a simple life away from everyone" for a time. This house would be perfect if I could find it!
