What Happened To The 80s-Era “My Little Pony” Cels?

What Happened To The 80s-Era “My Little Pony” Cels?

There is lots of cels from the 90s “My Little Pony Tales” TV show, but the original “My Little Pony N’ Friends”, and pilot episode “Rescue at Midnight Castle” have like no cels online from what I’ve tried researching.

It’s something I’d love to buy in the future, but I have had a really hard time digging up anything related to them. Not even production drawings. Could they been majority tossed away since the preservation of cels wasn’t as pushed in the 80s?

Thanks for any help or pointers!

Looking for a Hunter x Hunter Cel!

Specifically looking for a cel of Gon and Killua in the same shot. I missed my chance at getting a very affordable and adorable one on eBay a few months ago and have been searching for something similar since.

I’d love to see anything available in that guideline, thank you!

My Collection!

Just wanted to share where my collection is at right now! A mix of cels and production drawings, and one background.

These are all pieces from shows I love, almost a year and a half into collecting.

There’s this cat that started appearing in our yard over 6 months ago. Don’t get me wrong, he’s the sweetest orange tabby on earth. He wears a little collar with his name on it and a number. When we first ever saw him we called the number, and im just gonna get judgey off the bat, these mofos said “yeah no, he’s not lost, he wanders.” Mind you we live in a a dense suburb with quite a bit of songbirds and rabbits. This cat is on the daily spraying and messing with multiple people’s yards. Owners willing to risk the ecosystem and safety of their pet out of pure lack of providing an enriching indoor life.

That was a bit off topic, my main concern and gripe is how ever since Beaver Otis started appearing in our yard, the chipmunks are gone. There are multiple dead moles every few weeks. Less birds tending the bird feeders. This cat with come into our yard, sit under the bird feeders waiting and waiting. He’s using our structure for birds as a means to hunt them.

I’m just so sick of it. I don’t know if there’s a way to repel cats, but the lack of small wildlife I’ve noticed since he came into the neighborhood, the lack of care from outdoor cat owners, it’s a built upon frustration. And I can’t do anything. He’s not a stray, I can’t bring him to a pound. He’s also not a “pet” pet, I can’t bring him to his owners and expect him to be kept inside. He’ll just keep chipping away at what small scarce environments for the native wildlife is left in our ever developing state. And no guys, outdoor cats are justifiable. I can’t hear the brainless “well humans do worse!” excuse. One wrong doesn’t make another wrong less wrong. Keep your cats inside, rehome them if you can’t handle caring for a pet. An outdoor cat is an invasive species. You willingly subject them to the threats of cars, diseases, animal abusers, predators, ticks, fleas, etc. You willingly subject your local ecosystem to extra stress of a crucially successful foreign threat. I noticed the change in my yard alone. It’s been tragic

I’ve been waiting for a nice pull to finally have my first ever card graded!

I bought a booster pack from Target and got this guy!

I feel like on the back he’s a bit off centered so I’m not sure if he’ll be the one to be graded, but I’d appreciate any opinions. Thank you

He is a Mega Starmie Ex 118/088.
