I have a 2019 CB300R, I searched the vin number on the recall website and it only shows the recall for the headlights. But I have been having issues with my transmission. Sometimes it won't shift gears, the shifter goes up and down but it doesn't catch the gear. Sometimes it won't register it's in neutral even tho it is(I can turn the bike on and release the clutch and it won't move, but it won't say it's in neutral and won't turn on unless I home clutch in first)

Will I still be able to get the transmission recall if the vin doesn't call for it?

I've had the bike for about a month, idk if I just noticed this or if this started recently. I did my oil change and chain cleaning last week before I noticed this vibration.

My dash states my avg MPG is 85 and its slowly going up on every highway ride. I have the 2019 model which states it has a 2.7 gallon tank. But after filling up the tank and riding only 40 miles on the highway, the fuel gauge drops down to HALF. After another 40 miles trip back the empy fuel light turns on. It has the fuel light flashing when there should be more than half still left in tthe tank. What are your experiences? Is my fuel indicator wrong? is my MPG wrong? Is this just normal?

I have my plates very visible and its not tucked under my bike or anything. But I put in my plates into my tollway account and it only shows a couple of days worth of travels even though i have been using the highway for weeks

It has an SC project slip on exhaust but I'm not sure if it's a real one(previous owner had it installed). Sometimes when I start engine braking my exhaust pops once or twice. I thought that was normal but seeing online that it's bad for the engine? Usually it happens when I ease up on the throttle but not fully cut off the gas. Is this a big problem for the bike? Will it be okay if I just stop engine braking? Or is there an issue already that needs addressing?

I was going to get an oil change for a bike im about to buy today, the shop said they have these parts ready to do it today.

I saw people saying 10w40 or 10w30 both work for this bike?
