Ratt - The Video (VHS)

Who remembers this videotape? I mail ordered it back in 1985 and paid for it by check and probably waited six weeks to get it in the mail. My friends and I must've watched it until it wore out. Most of it can be seen on YouTube.

Thanks for the memories guys and RIP Robbin.

Hot damn, the EP still rocks! 🤘🏻

I hadn't listened to this in at least 40 years. Had the cassette back in the day and who knows where it ended up. But hot damn, listened to it today and it sounded as fresh as it did back then. I love that raw bluesy sound.

Also very cool to find this sub and to see it so active.

Tempur-pedic Ergo 3.0 massage motor fail

The massage motor running on slow speed failed within a day of delivery. Motor would sputter and then reduce power to the point where the massage could not be felt through the mattress. The fast massage from the same motor has worked fine.

Last night slow worked perfectly, and I used it repeatedly. I had spent most of the day with the bed in zero gravity position. I don't know if that loosened a kinked wire or if it's a coincidence that the slow massage now works.

My question is has anyone else experienced where it initially didn't work but after a few days it worked fine? The store is willing to swap it out immediately but I would prefer not to go through the ordeal of dealing with their delivery company again if I can avoid it.

The Trad Wife’s Secret by Liane Child

Here is another fun and fast read which I have not seen discussed here. The plot was not perfect but it kept me engaged to the last page. It was $2.99 on Apple Books and I liked it well enough to purchase her second book as well.

Before She Was Helen by Caroline B. Cooney

Has anyone read this? It is classified as a thriller, but felt like a cozy mystery hybrid. The main character is a senior citizen, and the author spent a great deal of the book making humor out of the shenanigans of the seniors at a retirement community. The book felt like half humor and half mystery. There was also an overabundance of unnecessary explanations of what life was like in the 1950s and 1960s, also in a patronizing manner. Finally, the main character’s age was supposed to be early seventies , but her backstory makes it seem like she should be in her eighties, and this was very distracting as well because the book contains many flashbacks. I would love to hear any and all feedback if others have read this.

I am loving Such a Bad Influence by Olivia Muenter

This is not even close to the kind of thriller that I normally choose but I am absolutely loving it. I am an old chick who does not have any social media unless Reddit counts as that, and I have never watched an influencer, but this book has me hooked. Has anyone else read it?

I have a Casper mattress from 2017. It is my understanding they have changed materials and now have several models.

Has anyone upgraded to a newer Casper, and would you be willing to share your comparisons of old vs. new.
