How do people secure cars to fabric bases?

I thought of blu tak but seems like it would leak oil stains to the base over time? I wonder how those insta reels people stick theirs to the base.

I would appreciate any advice!!!!!

Technically, an argument for NOT securing the car at all is the whole thing wasn't meant to be moved around anyways, but occasionally I'd like to admire it in my hands.

How do we clear dusty tyres and flakey decals?

Bought this second hand, absolutely love the mini figure and detached steering wheel. That said the model was highly likely displayed without the case and there are some signs of aging on the decals and tyres.

Would love some advice on how to fix them up, thanks!!!

What's the irl colour of this little guy's roll cage? Thanks!

Undoubtedly, Mini GT is top tier in decal prints, probably the best of the best despite it being a relatively budget friendly brand, in return the interiors receive less love (which is fair).

The least I'd like to do is take it apart and paint the roll cage, I can't exactly see clearly with online footage of this rexy in races, but a 1:43 model of this rexy from another brand made the cage white, is that the actual colour?

As a side question, what's a good place to get some slightly higher quality wheel replacement, saw kicarmods online but the Michelin print seemed meh? I'm UK based, thank you!

Juicing up my Micro Turbo

Bought a smol bike and baddie from ol' Ali to pair with the NSX widebody.

Probably my favourite 1:64 in my collection, comes with a fully detachable engine and crazy details (for the money).

Baffles me how the KH red evasive nsx is more expensive in the open market at (RELATIVELY) much lower quality, prices are irrational I guess.

Should I pay £83 for this?

The model came damaged, seller offered to refund partially such that I effectively pay £83 for this model, it's the 1:18 Japanese gp one.

If it is super worth it, I would glue them back together, otherwise part of me wants to just ship the whole thing back for a full refund, what do you guys think?

My very first Spark model, super impressed!!!

Very thick and sturdy acrylic case, and properly cambered front wheels!!!!! The only other 1/43s I own are panini's / bburago so this is a huge step up.

The Ferrari tax is a real put off though....

Beginner questions about the new Kaka event

Hey all, just joined this game recently so I've got some questions regarding events, for context I'm currently at tour 3 (lmao).

  1. How good is Kaka?

  2. I have browsed some threads and they recommended staying at a specific tour for farming, given this, I guess I shouldn't be progressing with this event? (Assuming I stay in tour 3) Since it requires trophy progression

  3. I guess a more generic question, farming means unlocking bags on the same tour until you are good enough to consistently win on the next tour right? So I guess it's normal to only play a match every few hours?

Thanks in advance!!!

Are there any updates beginners guide, especially in terms of resource spending?

Hi there, I've joined the game since yesterday and the coins are very scarce so far, so I don't want to commit currencies into the wrong cards if possible.

Would appreciate it if there are any beginner guides out there, thanks so much in advance!

Had to pay scalpers' premium for this... 😭😭😭

The case and figurines I bought separately. This casting deserves its own dedicated display it looks so good.

I paid a little more than 2.5x RRP because I only got into this hobby way after this casting became scarce, but this is one of KH's best works imo, couldn't hold myself. The recent Silvia S13-R with the twin turbo looks amazing too, wish it had fiercer colors though.

Question: how do you guys keep the engine cover open? Now Im sticking a blu tack between the cover hinge but it doesn't look the most aesthetic, would love some non-permanent solutions!! Thanks!!!

Why is the KH V2 evasive blue priced much more fairly than the red one still?

This is probably one of Kaido House's best works by far. I genuinely want to get this blue version but would want to save it at a later date for my budget.

Currently, they are still selling very close to the RRP in the UK, whereas the red one went hogwild by the scalpers.

While the red one was released earlier, I'm surprised this V2 is still selling pretty fairly? Why is that? Did they produce more this time? For how much longer can I comfortably hold before the price goes crazy (if it happens)? I'd really hate to pay a scalper's premium.

Thanks!!!

'Claude couldn't finish this response. Try again in a moment.'

Running Pro subscription here, incredibly frustrated by this, admittedly my prompt is decently long (i already asked other LLMs to optimise it to consume as little claude tokens as possible) and I wanted it to contruct an excel document (be it with two reference docs), but by the time the error message shows up, it has already eating up 75% of the session's usage.

Followed up with 'Continue exactly where you left off. Do not re-read or summarise prior context. Resume from the last incomplete section and proceed forward.' But after a while, all tokens were eating up and it stopped again.

Just wanted to know what is the best way to counter this? Any sort of settings i need to know? Is my follow up prompt correct? Ideally I want my prompt to be executed in one go, thanks!

Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm using Sonnet 4.6 adaptive and starts a new thread within the same Claude Project every time I want it to make a new spreadsheet.

My steering resets when I push my joystick to the leftmost only, anyone knows why?

It only happens to this game, whenever I push my joystick to the leftmost side the steering resets in game (rightmost side is fine). Latter half of the video I showed testing on a controller input site and it worked as normal.

I can avoid this by just pushing the joystick say 90% of the way, only when it reaches the edge it resets. I know I'm not supposed to steer all the way most of the time, however, nor I want to mentally stay on edge whenever I steer.

I've only did the first race in this game, it's definitely a game that I like but this issue is killing my motivation by quite a bit.

I launched this game the same way as with other games, via the steam controller client(??) (by clicking the controller's home button to activate it), so the controller should have been behaving properly?

Thanks for any help in advance!!!!

My name on parcel is different than that of the ID, what should I do?

I bought some items from eBay and have always been using my nickname (I.e. not my full legal name) for purchases, it was always fine because I have it delivered straight to my home.

However, due to recent changes in circumstances I have to pick it up in a parcel shop, now royal mail is prompting me to bring an ID with me too, thought this was only with Evri. Basically, here's a fictional example:

Legal name: Sergio Keith Smith

Parcel name: Checo Smith

Since the designated address is the parcel shop and not my home, I can't prove I'm the buyer using the address. I will try picking it up tomorrow but would like to ask ahead, is it possible to be denied the collection of parcel? What's my best course of action for now? Thanks!!!

(Of course, while not preferred, I will start using my full legal name in future orders.)

I am eyeing the PC version now, how good is it?

I played the mobile version some years ago and it's pretty decent. However, I stopped not long after due to the grind, and whatever mobile game mechanics they had (wait or pay etc.). Now, i see the game with discount on steam.

My question is: Is the PC version sharing the same traits as the mobile one as of today? I was reading a thread from two years ago and they were complaining about the PC port having the issues i mentioned (grind & wait times etc.). How is it now? Is it a great time to hop in?

Thank you so much in advance!!!
