Zepbound? I don't think so

I have recently started taking GLP-1. I get it in person because it works better for me. I never know when I'm going to be home, and with this heat? Yikes. Anyway, for the past two months, Optum has informed me that they were getting ready to ship my order.

I never ordered Zepbound from them. The order was sent directly to the pharmacy, and is going through the Medicare Bridge. Optum has nothing to do with this. I've verified with my doctor's office.

Six times. Six! I have called them and told them, under no circumstances, are they to send me this medication. I have chatted with them. I have emailed them. Then this evening, I get home and have a lovely notice that they have sent the order already.

Not only that, they're trying to bill me for this. Uh uh. Nope. I have the receipts, Optum. Documentation of when I called, plus copies of emails and chat logs. They have a notice on their page that any meds that have been sent out cannot be returned, only disposed of, but they will continue to bill for the erroneous shipment. And the meds I actually get from them, they won't send out until I pay this extortion. I mean, bill.

Oh, this has me furious. Yes, I understand that UHC made six billion dollars in profit in the last three months ago. That is no reason to be pulling crap like this!

Movies and Their Episodes

In two weeks, theaters will help celebrate the 60th anniversary of classic Trek by showing the first four Trek films, each paired with an episode that ties in to it.

TMP with Changeling

Wrath of Khan with Space Seed

Search for Spock with Amok Time

Voyage Home with City on the Edge of Forever.

Which got me to thinking ... what would be an episode of the franchise that you would tie in with each of the 13 Star Trek films?

Sword and Staff from AMC

A week or so back, someone posted that they got a bunch of the mini swords and Havoc Staffs at AMC. I went today and got some.

You'll need to visit an AMC that serves alcohol. They are the only locations that got them. Thing is, according to the staff member I talked with today, they aren't using them at all. The swords are too small to put in the drinks as mixers, and the staffs ... actually, I forget what she said about those.

Anyway, they have boxes and boxes of these sitting behind the bars, unused. The only time they even get brought out is if someone asks for them specifically. So, go. Do that. Chances are VERY high you'll get more than a few if you just ask politely.

Bubble on ceiling

This is on the ceiling in my hospital room. No one seems to know what it is. Smoke detector and WiFi extender are also up there, so do not one of those. What is this thing?

I have no idea what's going on with this. The noise started two or three days ago. The tire looks like it's fine, but I can hear it making this odd thumping or maybe grinding noise, especially when it's going slow. I grabbed about 15 seconds of it doing this noise tonight.

Any idea what would be causing this? I think it's the front driver's side wheel, and it's a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. Automatic, and about 140,000 miles.

Thank you!
