Aim or Look and throw?

Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.

Currently going through some throw changes to try and improve my consistency, and tonight for fun I decided to change to more of a feel throw/rhythm.

What I discovered was that the feel throw does actually feel better for me. I think I liken it to how I throw a football, I don’t actually aim where I throw the ball more so I throw a football to a “spot”.

I think moving forward I might treat my darts throw like that, throwing more to a spot and a feel than actually setting, and aiming the dart.

How do you personally throw?

My first Oil painting

So I signed up for my first oil painting class! I’m most used to charcoal drawing and got the idea to try painting not to long ago.

Really liked the first class and we worked on toning the canvas, and blocking in shapes today for our first lesson. Seems similar to charcoal in a way, but I’m happy I signed up!
