Is there a seasonality in job postings?

I was laid off in May this year, and since then, I have been applying to and reaching out to agencies/recruiters. No luck so far. Summer was very slow for job postings, and I thought the last quarter of the year would bring some spikes, but I haven't seen a drastic change.

Would appreciate a feedback on my resume from fellow professionals

I'm a data analyst with 4+ years of experience. Currently looking for a job after being laid off. I would appreciate your feedback on my resume.

Thanks in advance!

Married for 7 years (been toghether 16 years). I feel distant and divorce thoughts are creeping. Is this normal, and can it be saved?

My husband (M34) and I (F30) have been married for 7 years, together since we were 14, and we have a wonderful 2.5-year-old child. We are true soulmates, always sharing interests, gaming, motivating each other to grow, and just being each other's biggest supporters.

Over the past year, though, I’ve felt emotionally distant. I catch myself feeling more relaxed and at ease when he isn't home. Our sex life is non-existent at this point (honestly, it was low from the start due to various reasons - he comes home late, we’re exhausted, he’s stressed, wanted to lose weight - so over time, I just slowly backed off).

We used to spend hours having deep conversations, going for walks, and discussing movies. Lately, we barely see each other, and when we do, the main activity is scrolling through Instagram Reels. I deleted Instagram a while ago because the constant doomscrolling was draining my brain. Now he just sends me Reels, though he’s slowly accepting that I don't want to watch them anymore.

I have unfulfilled expectations of him as a husband and a father. He is a musician who works hard and is rarely home. I understand he works long hours, but I believe that no matter how busy you are, you need to make dedicated, quality time for your wife and child. I work from home, so being isolated makes his absence feel even heavier.

He appreciates my patience and always thanks me, assuring me that once his band’s work settles down, life will get easier. But I just feel guilty... I don't understand why thoughts of divorce have started creeping into my mind lately. I feel like I've lost romantic feelings for him. At this point, he feels like my best friend or brother. He is a wonderful human being whom I respect and love, but there is zero romantic vibe, zero passion, zero sex life - just Reels...

Is this a normal phase in a long-term relationship/marriage after having a toddler? Is it possible to save this marriage?

Edit: By saying "gaming" I meant board games and not digital games.

UPDATE:

I ended up sitting down and sharing my feelings with him. The second I said, "I don’t feel like we exist as a couple anymore," he got extremely defensive. That specific phrase really triggered something in him, and it escalated into a very intense argument.

He told me I was being overly dramatic and impatient. He argued that everything he is doing - working long hours away from us - he is doing strictly for our family. He said he struggles with not seeing us as often either, but that he simply can't be with me 24/7. I clarified that I never asked for him to be around 24/7; all I need is regular, dedicated quality time for me and our child. What’s the point of all the upcoming success with his band if our family breaks apart in the process?

Anyway, this is a known pattern of his - he often reacts defensively at first and then processes/analyzes the situation later when things cool down. I’m hoping that once the dust settles, he will actually digest what I was trying to say.

Thank you to everyone who responded and shared your experiences on my initial post - it really helped me feel less alone.

Does he feel lonely when sleeping alone?

My son is 2.5 years old and he was pretty independent sleeper until the moment my mom visited us for about 10 months. She was staying in his bedroom and he got used to her presence at nights. Now she is not living with us anymore and I am having difficulties. When I am with him in his bed it takes forever to fall asleep, he is playing, jumping, talking and stuff like that.

Recently I hacked the system lol. I am closing his bed door and saying him that I'm going to drink some water I'll be back, or I need to feed our dog etc. He agrees to that, then a few minutes later he starts calling my name in a very sad way. When that happens I start a 10 minute countdown - if he still is calling me or starts crying I go back, but usually he ends up sleeping.

So my question is the following - will this traumatize him? I feel bad for kind of "lying" to him, but I haven't found any other effective way. Any advice is appreciated.

My 2.5 year old son refuses to use potty after a few successful days

Last week he finally sat down and did both pee and poop in the potty. We got too excited and he caught that. The following 3 days he was great - he was calling me to help and stuff like that. But now, all of a sudden he refuses to use it. He cries and asks for a diaper once he feels he needs to poop. I insisted and eventually he pooped right on the ground in the living room. After that I decided to not torture him.

Is this expected? Is he experimenting or what?

He goes to potty in tbe kindergarten, but not home.. any advice?
