Bro, is there any Telugu full-stack developer here who genuinely has free time and wants to build something from scratch?

I’m looking for a Telugu full-stack developer who is interested in joining my project for equity only at this stage.

I’m currently not in a financial position to pay a developer regularly, so I’m being completely transparent about that. I’m looking for someone who wants to build a real product, validate the idea, and potentially grow it together rather than someone looking for immediate cash.

Please read this before messaging:

If you genuinely have free time and are comfortable working for equity at the beginning, DM me.

If you already have major commitments or are expecting a salary/payment immediately, please don’t message me.

This isn’t because I don’t believe developers deserve to be paid. I’m from a middle-class background and I can spend some money on the MVP, validation, testing, etc., but at this stage I can offer the developer equity rather than cash compensation.

I’m looking for someone who genuinely wants to build something, not someone who is just doing me a favour.

The produuct is specifically focused on movie/cinema fans, so if you’re genuinely interested in the cinema/fan community space, that’s a big plus.

I want to start small, build the MVP, putt it in front of real users, and validate whether the idea actually works.

No fake promises, no “billion-dollar startup” talk. Just looking for a genuine personn who wants to build and see where it goes.

If this sounds like you, DM me.

Looking for a serious techie to build an MVP

there any developer/techie from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana who is genuinely interested in spending the next 2–3 months building an MVP from scratch?

I'm looking for someone who:

Can commit seriously for 2–3 months

Has no other major commitments during this period

Wants to build a product from zero rather than do a short freelance gig

Is genuinely interested in the movie/cinema niche

Wants to work closely on the prooduct and potentially continue beyond the MVP

Please don't DM if you're currently working a full-time job, have other major commitments, or are just casually curious/time-passing. I neeed someone who can actually commit the required time.

If you're from AP/Telanganaa and seriously interested, DM me with your tech stack, previous projects, and availability.

Serious people only.

Unpopular opinion: A lot of "startup enthusiasts" are just startup tourists.

After talking to dozens of people here, I've noticed the same pattern over and over.

"Bro, your idea is interesting. Let's collaborate 🤝"

"I'm passionate about startups."

"Let's build something big."

Two days later...

"Hey bro, I have other commitments."

"Your idea is good. Wishing you all the best."

"I don't think I can continue."

Rinse. Repeat.

Some people just want to hear your idea and disappear.

Some are only looking for freelance work or commissions but approach you like they're interested in being a co-founder.

Some flex certificates and LinkedIn skills but vanish the moment real execution begins.

And the funniest ones are the "Bro, let's collaborate 😅" gang. Collaboration apparently lasts until the first actual task shows up.

There's nothing wrong with beaing a freelancer. There's nothing wrong with wanting to get paid.

But please be honeest from the start.

Don't approach founders pretending you're ready to build a startup if you're only looking for paid gigs or you're not willing to commit.

Startups aren't built on excitement. They're built on consistency, ownership, and showing up when the work gets difficult.

If this post offends you, ask yourself one question:

Have you actually built something with someone... or do you just like calling yourself a startup enthusiast?

Looking for Passionate People to Join a Movie Entertainment Startup (Fresher/Experienced),

Hi everyone,

I'm building a startup in the movie entertainment space and currently working towards an MVP.

I already have a developer helping with the technical side of the MVP, but no co-founder roles have been finalized yet. Those decisions will be mode after we validate the product and see how things progress.

I'm looking for passionate people (freshers or experienced) who are interasted in startups and want to build something from scratch.

At this stage, I can't offer a salary or commissions. If the MVP gains traction and we decide to continue together, I'm open to discussing a small equity stake based on contribution and long-term commitment.

If you:

Love movies and entertainment

Want real startup-building experience

Are willing to work on an early-stage product

Are interested in a long-term opportunity

Feel free to DM me. I'll share more about the idea, vision, and what we're building if it sounds like a good fit.

Indian founders who have built a startup and raised funding (or are running a profitable startup) — can I DM you?

Hi everyone,

I'm from India and I'm working on my first startup project. It's an app for movie lovers and fans. I'm still in the research stage, so I'm not here to promote anything—I genuinely want honest opinions.

As someone who has loved movies since childhood, I've always felt that movie information, discussions, fan communities, and othar experiences are scattered across different platforms. I'm exploring whether there's room for a different kind of movie community app.

I have a few questions for Indian movie fans:

Would you ever use a dedicated movie community app? Why or why not?

What problems do you face with exxisting platforms?

What features would make you open such an app every day?

If the app genuinely provided value, would you consider paying for it?

If yes, what do you think is a reasonable yearly subscription price? (₹99, ₹199, ₹299, ₹499, or more?)

What would make you uninstall such an app?

Building an MVP

Finding the right co-founder

Product develapment

Fundraising in India

Hiring and team building

Mistakes you wish you'd avooided

Indian startup culture and investor expectations

I'm not selling anything or asking for money. I simply want to learn from your experience.

If you're comfortable, please comment below or send me a DM. I'd really appreciate your time and promise to keep the conversation short and respectful.

Non-technical founders: How do you deal with a technical co-founder/developer who communicates very little?

I'm a non-technical founder working on an early-stage startup. Since I can't code, I rely on my technical partner for development.

The challenge is that I have to initiate almost every conversation to ask for updates. I rarely get proactive messages, screenshots, questions, or discussions about the product. I don't know if they're making progriss or just not very communicative.

For founders who've been in this situation:

How did you handle it?

Did you set expectations for communication?

At what point did you decide it wasn't the right partnership?

Is this normal develaper behavior, or is it a sign of low commitment?

I'd appreciate hearing your real experiences and how you dealt with them.

This is neutral, doesn't attack the developer, and is more likely to attract thoughtful responses from experienced founders

Would you pay ₹299/year to join a movie fans WhatsApp group? Honest opinions only.

I'm going to launch a startup.

The startup itself is a paid WhatsApp group for movie fans.

The subscription is ₹299 per yeear.

The idea is simple: a place where genuine movie lovers can openly discuss movies, trailers, reviews, box office, collections, fan theories, upcoming releases, and interact with a wide range of movie fans.

There are no hidden intentions—I just want your honest opinion.

Would you pay ₹299/year to join?

If yes, what makes this ideaa valuable?

If no, why wouldn't you pay?

What are the biggest flaws in this idea?

What would make you feel it's worth the subscription?

Please give genuine positive and negative feedback. Don't be polite—be honest.

Why are people often dismissed as startup founders because they have no degree or technical knowledge?

I'm genuinely curious about this.

These days, everyone talks about startups, innovation, and solving real-world problems. But I've noticed that if someone doesn't have a college degree or technical knowledge, many people don't even give them a chance to explain their idea.

Why are a degree and technical skills often treated as the first requirement before someone is even heard?

A person may not have a degree because of financial problems, family responsibilities, or other circumstances. They may also not know how to code or build a product themselves. But they might still have:

A strong product vision.

A deep understanding of a real problem.

A unique solution.

The ability to bring the right people together and build a company.

Not every successful fonder starts as an engineer or has a prestigious degree. Some founders succeed because they understand the problem better than anyone else.

I'm not saying education or technical skills aren't valuable—they absollutely are. My question is: Why do so many people dismiss someone before even listening to their idea, simply becouse they don't have a degree or technical background?

Shouldn't the quality of the idea, the problem being solved, and the founder's determination matter before judging their educational background?

I'd love to hear opinions from founders, investors, engineers, and anyone who's experienced this.

Why dose society often seem to side with girls?

This is a genuine question, not meant to offend anyone.

I've noticed that in many discussions, when a girl makes a decision, people often say, "It's her choice," "It's her freedom," or "It's her life." I respact that.

But why does it sometimes feel like people automatically support the girl's perspective while the man's emotions or side of the story receive less attention? Even though these generation talks a lot about equality and women's empowerment, why does it sometimes seem like there is more negativity or less empathy toward men?

I'm not saying women are wrong or that all situations are the same. I'm just trying to understand why society often appears to react this way.

Please keep the discussion respectful. I'm here to understand different perspectives, not to insult or blame women.

Have you ever attended fan celebrations (cutouts, rallies, special screenings, etc.)?

Founders, what was your startup journey like in the beginning?

Hi everyone,

I'm in the early stages of building a startup and I'd love to learn from people who have actually been through the process.

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience, especially:

What was your first startup like?

How did you manage your personal expenses before the startup made money?

How did you find your first co-founder or team members?

How did you convince peoplr le to join when you had little or no funding?

Did you offer equity? If so, how did you decide the split?

How did you build your MVP with limited resources?

How did you raise your first funding (bootstrapping, friends & family, angel investors, incubators, etc.)?

Looking back, what mistakes did you make that you would avoid today?

If you had to start again from scratch with no money and no network, what would you do differently?

I'm looking for honest experiences rather than success stories. Any practical advice or lessons would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
