Questions for going into pc for the first time from console

Hi guys!

I do not trust myself at all with building my own pc, and the idea of a pre built is much more attractive to me. However, I would want a pre built that is “upgradable” if that makes sense. I don’t wanna go all out and get a crazy build off the bat but I want a pre built that’s as close as possible to being plug and play for noobs where I can buy ram upgrades or a new graphics card or something and have it work with no major adjustments to the other parts in the pc.

Does that mean I need to find a prebuilt with a beefy power supply? I guess the question is what parts should I look for in a prebuilt pc that are the “foundation” that will be powerful enough to survive upgrades past its stock configuration? And any pc recommendations that fit this criteria even loosely? Budget isn’t a huge issue as long as it’s not ridiculous, I understand prices are going up and I’m fully expecting to have to pay up.
