38[F4M] -#South Africa #Online - Will un-doodle myself if we vibe

Hello out there! This is me putting myself out there, so if you think we would hit it off from my post, then feel free to reach out.

I’d like to find someone close by, because, well who wouldn’t right, but I am open to online connections because I just want to find genuine and interesting, even silly conversations. I’d love to find my forever person, but for now I’m just open to meeting interesting people, and seeing what happens.

Things about me:
- I’m creative and enjoy picking up creative hobbies
- Regularly work out and love hiking
- I don’t drink or smoke/vape (the cig in the picture is a work of fiction and those are fictional mocktails)
-Generally take care of myself, eat healthy, love trying new foods
- I’m non religious (I’d say I’m close to Pantheism/Taoism as far as beliefs go)
- Love deep conversations, I love philosophy and psychology, always curious about new topics
-I don’t have kids
- I’m therapy positive.
- Love all animals, dog person usually but don’t have one right now
-I’m girly but equally happy hiking and exploring in mud and dirt
- I try to communicate clearly about my feelings, I value clarity and honesty.
- Usually an open book
-I wouldn’t mind you sending me a doodle pic if you’ve read this far
- I’m more of a phone call/ in person person than a texter but when I like someone, I just want to hear from them in any way

Here are some clues on what I look like, I’m of Indian descent, born here in SA. 159cm/~5’3”

Anyway I’ll end it here. I tried to be detailed so I reach the right target audience. If you think we would have great convos, feel free to reach out and we can chat. Please tell me a bit about yourself when you dm! :)

How to express/deal with anger arising

I’ve been no contact with my narcissist family (brother and father) for many years. Last year he had a major health event happen and I got in contact with them, but then gradually over a few weeks broke contact again to bare minimum contact over only health things, because they are the same people and I guess I had to learn new lessons. No regrets tho. I’d say over the past few months it’s been minimal contact and once the below situation is over I will be going back to zero.

Anyway, during this round of contact I decided to finally get ownership of a piece of property that was kept from me (when I was younger my father forced me to pay through him and he messed with my head about credit etc with me being young; it was just a tactic to get something to control me with) anyway, I decided to sort it out now because f them and I want what is mine. So it’s finally on my name but last finalising details are being done, and he has used the opportunity to insert comments about himself “just for your info, I just got out of hospital and will be going in again next week”

And these comments really get a rise out of me, I didn’t respond angrily I just responded to the property issue and added in a ok hope you feel better then didn’t respond again. They basically get a rise out of me because internally I am a caring person who would help people I love in need, I usually do, but it’s like an internal fight to have zero compassion for this person because of the way he has always treated me vs things that trigger me feeling like a bad person. It makes me angry and hurts.

How do you deal with feelings like this?
