What are you excited for when you get your braces off?
How did you feel about going tiny/downsizing?
We just bought a very small THOW. 250sqft. We will be downsizing to this while we wait to built our house hopefully finished by summer of 2028.
We are in a 800sqft rental cabin currently. It has a lot of dead space. We don’t use the kitchen often because of a ventilation issue and our living room is mostly reserved for dog beds (another scary thing about downsizing). We aren’t home except to sleep so that’s why we bought the tiny home.
But… all of our stuff. Where do I put it? We have a storage unit for all the big stuff. Going to donate most of the kitchen stuff. We both have a lot of Knick knacks and clothing. I have a shoe problem.
I’m just feeling a little overwhelmed and freaked out with the huge change of living space. Thoughts? Suggestions? Has this question been answered a gazillion times before?
Our tiny home is currently just a shell. So we have lots of freedom with where we put everything.

My boyfriend unfortunately hit and killed a very young fox about a week ago. It was late at night and foggy and he didn’t even have a chance to break before it was gone. He stopped to make sure it wasn’t suffering and as he walked back to the truck he saw what he assumed was mom. She barked at him and in that moment he felt what he described as lightening in his body.
Every single day since that happened has been a nightmare. He lost his set of work keys (about 50 of them), had a massive pipe explosion at work and lost thousands of of gallons of water while I had to drive three hours away for the part to fix it. And just tonight he lost his wallet. Insurance cards/ID/contractors license/and credit cards all gone.
My boyfriend is a gentle man. I held him while he cried after that sweet baby foxes lost life. I don’t know how to help him. So people of reddit- do you have any words of wisdom or spells I can try, anything to make this right?
I should add. I am already a spiritual person, this is not a spur of the moments let’s see if this works. I just need some direction.
Would also consider a 6”.
Do any of you have poultry/farm animals on your property?
I am interested in getting a terrier for my next dog but want to see if it’s even possible. We have chickens/ducks/turkeys, goats and a cow.
