Amazon Drivers: Please STOP buzzing apartment buzzers during sleeping hours!

To any Amazon delivery drivers lurking in this sub, please spread the word: STOP ringing the apartment buzzers during sleeping hours.

On an average of twice per month now, my buzzer has been buzzed by an Amazon driver at an ungodly hour. Today, it was 3:41am.

And it wasn't even my package... During average waking hours, I've noticed that Amazon drivers have a habit of buzzing multiple buzzers (not just the recipient's buzzer) in which I assume is an attempt to notify as many people that there's a package outside in case the recipient isn't home. That's annoying enough already - leave the package to the responsibility of the recipient - but in the middle of the night or early morning hours? Have some damn common sense.

Pirate Weekend Crowds?

Heading to the faire this weekend and saw another comment about Pirate Weekend being the most crowded. Unfortunately, my group didn't take note of the theme weekends when planning our trip so now we're locked in. We're going on Saturday and are hopeful that the morning rain will deter some crowds.

For those who have gone on Pirate Weekend before, how bad should we expect the crowds to be? We know to always plan for food early in the day, and are fine skipping the joust due to crowds, but we're curious on what to expect from previous experience.

Primary Care Physician Recommendations?

Looking for a new PCP, ideally NOT part of Northwestern or Endeavor groups. Preferably the closer to LSD - anywhere from the loop north to Rogers Park and the surrounding areas. Thanks!

Recently started working in Highland Park right by the HP Metra stop. Looking for any recommendations for places to go after work solo where it's easy to strike up conversations - a bar or cafe where people tend to come on their own and it feels natural to chat. I got very used to this when working in the city... I live in Evanston and will usually head back there for this (or into the city) but it would be great to find a spot nearby my office that has that kind of vibe.

33 years old, for additional context. Age however isn't a consideration - I can chat with pretty much anybody, just looking for a place where I wouldn't be interrupting other groups to do so.

Thank you!
