Alternate Endings?

For those that don't like the finale, what would you have done instead? How would you have ended BSG (2004)?

I am ok with the finale. I have thought about it for 17 years and can't come up with a better ending. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas though.

Would you WANT to Survive?

If you had been a Colonial when the Cylons attacked, would you have wanted to survive? Or would you have looked at your worlds being destroyed and just accept your fate?

Katee Sackhoff suits up!

Instagram video of Katee donning her old (and sadly because of the material breaking down, deteriorating) flight suit from the old BSG days. 😄

Pluto has Razor!

Been watching and Razor just started up on Pluto. Has anyone checked if Paramount+ has it as 4x01x02? It was not mentioned in the press release but there it is.

Asked what I do...

We went car shopping today. Need to buy a new (used) car. And amidst the conversation and info pumping, the salesman asked what we do for a living. And my sister and I, both riddled with more chronic conditions than I can name, froze like deer in the headlights.

Because even though it's a common enough question I suppose? We rarely encounter it. And we both came back with lies. Because we didn't feel comfortable explaining we're disabled and chronically ill many times over. Not to a stranger.

It just felt so uncomfortable 😣

How do you all deal with it? I always go with the career I wanted, because at least it's my instinct when the conversation goes there. But I don't like lying either. It's just the lesser evil over being judged for being sick. Whether or not that was the situation it's always possible and you never know.

Too many chronic conditions to really go into. Suffice to say, I'm a mess lol. I've always ran hot though? Couldn't tolerate heat. Blasting the AC all summer and at 67° if possible. Couldn't wear long sleeves anything without overheating. On and on.

Last 2 or 3 years that has done a 180. I'm right now in long sleeves and sweats and under blankets in my 75° bedroom and I'm comfortable. Being like this 5 years ago I'd have been sweating and huffing and puffing and struggling.

My best theory is that as I've gotten my diabetes under better control and my blood sugar levels are in range, it's somehow effecting me in this way? But who knows. I also have heart disease and my heart is improved ejection fraction and working easier, so maybe that's part of it?

I'm just confused why at 41 after a lifetime of overheating I'm suddenly the opposite. And I don't know why! Is it just part of being middle aged now? Or is something new yet again wrong?

I'm glad they've properly included the mini series. Last time it was streaming somewhere it did not.
