Rasmus Saukkoriipi’s forehand

Watched the Ezra and Goose vs Vaelo and Rasmus video, and Rasmus FUXKING BOMBS!!
I mean the dude gotta throw the farthest forehands for a full touring pro, right?
I know he also smashes a backhand (won the 2025 Distance competition), with a 647’ (197.5m for the Europeans).

Im just baffled by his forehand distance, it seems so smooth (especially for a big guy throwing long forehands. Ive seen they tend to look like they force it more. Besides like Sullivan, Eagle and Big jerm, they’re super smooth).

But is there really anything special with his forehand mechanics, or is it just perfected over years and years with constant practice?
Feels like there’s something he does that shouldnt be overlooked.

The dude is also giant tho, like a smaller AB or taller Ezra type guy.

Best running shoes

Hey, i wanna grab a few pairs of different types of running shoes.

  • One is for pure races (21km-42km)
  • One is for shorter races (like 5-10km)
  • One is for Tempo/ Interval sessions
  • One is for long, comfortable runs in Z2-Z3

I have wide feet, if that helps in any way. I also overpronate a little, but not to the extreme:)

What shoes to consider? Nike vs Saucony

So im considering starting pretty serious into running. I’ve been running a around 20 times since april (i know, not super consistant), and feel good as a beginner.

I wanna know what type of shoes i should consider buying when its the right time. Im a pretty good fan of Nike and Saucony, so the shoes im looking for is from them.

I already use the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5, and they feel pretty good. And i overpronate sligthly, if thats a big help. Pricetag isnt super important, since i know where i can get them cheaper, but anyways.

Which shoes do you recommend? Im looking for a race pair, a tempo/ interval pair, a everyday pair and long run pair (but the everyday and long run pair can be the same, if it works).

Tips for upper body exercises

Hey y’all. Im gonna train (both gym wise and endurance wise) for triathlons within a couple of years. I know 90% of the fitness comes from swimming, cycling and running drills over a set period, but i also wanna prepare my upper body for this practice.

So, for the upper body, does this workout sound good:

  • Shoulder press dumbells (6kg, 3x15)
  • Neutral grip pull ups (bodyweight, 3x4 —> 3x5)
  • Tall dips (bodyweight, 2x15)

Or should i do something else? Im doing this 1-2x week depending on how much my school allows it, or if my body is sore or not.

Merida Reacto 9000 vs Orbea Orca aero M30iLTD

Hey everyone. Im trying to decide which of the two roadbikes im gonna buy (the ones in the title), but i dont know which. Is there someone who knows the difference, in not just the specs, but also the feeling of riding them?

Im leaning towards the Orbea Orca (full 60mm tires and the whole bike for like under 6000£). But i know the Merida Reacto 9k is effectivly much more aero in a windtunnel (197w vs 212w) at 45km/h.

Just seeing my best options, since Norway (my home country) doesnt have the best options, and i dont want a 10k+ bike, since im not gonna start out like crazy. What are some of the thoughts?
