👊 COMPLETE DIFFICULTY OVERHAUL (Marvel's Spider-Man 2)

Good afternoon/good evening!

I hope this doesn't break any subreddit rules, but I wanted to share a combination of mods for anyone who, like me, found Marvel's Spider-Man 2 a bit too easy on PC.

None of the mods listed below are mine. I simply enjoyed them and decided to put together a list. When combined, they make the combat far more intense and completely change the overall experience.

Graphics

• FluffyRebelGirls_The Not-Raimi Movie: ReShade
This is the ReShade preset I currently use. It gives the game a much more consistent look and creates a cinematic atmosphere, especially during nighttime.

• Floopy's Gore and Blood Mod
Adds more blood particles during combat. It pairs perfectly with the gameplay mods listed below.

• Over the Shoulder Camera
Moves the camera to an over-the-shoulder perspective for players who prefer a closer, more immersive view of the action.

• No Healing FX
Removes the green healing effect from the characters. It's a small change, but it improves immersion.

Character Gameplay

• Unlimited Combat 2
Adds several new moves and combos for Peter. I'm still learning some of them myself, but it already changes the gameplay significantly.

• Hybrid-Symbiotic Combat 2.0
In my opinion, one of the best mods on this list. It almost completely reworks Peter's combat by adding new attacks and making much greater use of the symbiote throughout his animations.

• TASM 2 Expressive Combat – RAGE WITHIN
A simpler alternative to Hybrid. It modifies Peter's and Miles' attacks, making their fighting style more aggressive and impactful. I recommend using either this mod or Hybrid, not both at the same time.

Difficulty & Gameplay Systems

• Enemy and Boss Health Increases
Lets you increase the health of all enemies and bosses by 2x or 4x. It's a simple but effective mod. However, it isn't compatible with the next mod, which is much more comprehensive.

• Ultimate Difficulty
Probably the most important mod on this list.

It adds six new difficulty levels. The highest ones are nearly impossible, so I wouldn't recommend them for most players. I personally play on Mythic, which already provides an excellent challenge.

The mod tweaks almost everything: dodge and parry windows, enemy damage, enemy health, combat balance, and much more. If you're looking for a truly challenging experience, this is the mod that makes the biggest difference.

• Ultimate Levels
I haven't used this one yet, but it's worth mentioning. It completely overhauls Peter's and Miles' progression system, giving the game a stronger RPG feel.

The downside is that the author recommends starting a fresh save. Since I'm already playing on NG+, I didn't want to start over again, but I'd definitely recommend it for anyone beginning a new playthrough.

• Healing Factor
Adds passive health regeneration to Peter. It may sound overpowered, but with the right settings it actually complements the increased difficulty.

I recommend using Small or Very Small, just enough to represent Peter's minor healing factor without making the game too easy.

• Fight to the Death
This one is for players who really want to suffer.

Every boss has 16x more health and deals 2x more damage. If you think you've mastered the combat system and want to push your skills to the limit, give this one a try.

• Focus Overhaul

It’s worth mentioning that it modifies the game's Focus system, allowing you to spend the Focus bar to use a special ability without it being fully charged and introduces other changes; however, I’m used to the standard system, so I stuck with Vanilla.

Harry Ally

It's the first time this has happened; I thought Miles and Wraith were the only Allies in the game, but I'm playing New Game+ and Harry showed up for the first time. The odds are much lower than for Wraith or Miles, right?

I'd never seen this hack before. Twice created about 12 copies of it when I found it, then I followed Mirko from his team and he created 12 of her as well.

Dabura From JUJUTSU Kaisen

Hey, I'm trying to create Dabura for you. I already have the horns, three eyes, and similar tattoos, but I'd like a skin tone that makes it smoother and less worn out (kind of youthful).

Also, light and shadow magic (shadows because it would be his spell reversal). For the outfit, I use Vladimir's; it fits best.

Thanks to anyone who can give suggestions!

Help

Hi! I'm new to the game and I'm gathering resources to create my look. Do you know if there's any outfit similar to this one in the game? The one with the step halfway down the chest is the "Exiled" Jedi Survivor outfit.

Green Name

It might seem like a silly question, but why does this guy have a green nickname? I've never seen that in PvP before.
