Keid V full playthrough on Veteran no less!

Evening folks!

Sorry for posting twice in a row but what once was one, is now eleven. Unkndoomer has battled out all eleven Keid V: YCR missions on hard mode. (I had to help a little on the last one)

I figured it was appropriate to bring the celebration of extreme firepower and unmitigated minelaying here and share it with the group.

Note that unmitigated minelaying is only allowed on veteran level and above. I've turned it off for a few missions in the normal version. I won't consider it cheating if you want to play veteran and turn it back on though... or play elite and find a way not to die to the infantry.

Happy viewing!

Keid V Campaign: UnknDoomer Runs it on Hard Difficulty

This guy is a nut... never intended for this but I totally forgot changing the game difficulty was a thing.

He does a reasonable job though, given how tough all the enemies become.

He's sent a bunch more if people want to see them but I'm not sure I want to spread his madness to the rest of the community. I've already had to fix a few things that he found. Some of his tricks will no longer work, be warned.

Still cool, thanks dude,

Requesting Voices for Mechcommander 2 Campaign.

I everyone.

I hope I'm allowed to do this here but I'm in need of a number of voices, four at the moment, maybe more by the end for a battletech game. Specifically a fan made MechCommander 2 campaign.

I put up a request here.

https://www.castingcall.club/projects/battletech-mc2-voice-search

I hope it's allowed. I'll understand if it isn't. I'm just blindly groping around at this point.

Thanks Much,

Chris/SRO

Opionions requested. Campaign AI videos In/Out?

Hello mechwarriors,

I've been building my Mechcommander 2 campaign and have come upon a problem created by a simple solution I took to a previous quandary. I have a pair of videos in my campaign. One at the beginning, one at the end. They're relatively short, just the dropship landing at the beginning and taking off at the end. Bookend videos, if you will. The problem seems to be that the current version was created with what is rather mistakenly referred to as *gasp* AI. Many people don't care, but a few have taken issue with any use of that dreaded piece of equipment.

I take it you you my fellow mechwarriors to make a suggestion on what to do about it. Should I:

1: Just get rid of the videos and have none?

2: Leave them there and damn the torpedoes?

3: Wait for the day I can get actual rendered videos from some professional?

4: Leave them there until I can get those videos made?

With as few people playing Mechcommander 2 at the moment I want to keep as much of a player base as possible. I'm just unsure which way I'd lose more attention.

One of the offending videos has been included with the post btw.

Thank you much for your opinions,

Chris/SRO

P.S. Well... first time I haven't been able to spell opinion... I feel like a derp... Lemme edit the title!

In depth question: Opening and Closing Videos. AI in/out?

Opinion Request: Keid V

Greetings Mech enthusiasts!

Recently added to Mechcommander 2 the Keid V: YCR campaign. Small little 7 mission, 4 optional mission run just to test out the water and hell, I was bored. Not sure if it's made it over here but I might as well ask what I asked the other Mechcommanders.

Now that Keid V has been out for MC2 a little while, and in celebration of it being finished with all four of the hidden optional missions available, all the blurbs done, most of the missions having been error tested... ok maybe not 6 and 7 but nobody's perfect... and all but a few knick knacks squared away, I'd like to ask your opinions on the project.

Just in case I included the link to the campaign again. Always possible someone could have missed it.

So what do you think? What did you notice? Anything stand out? How did you like it? What did you not like? Anything I missed? How does it work for you?

Response much appreciated!

I think this turned out well.

Just what I managed to finish before my A-ADHD pulled me off the project. Only book one of four done -_-, oh well.

I don't think anybody plays 4A anymore anyway.
