Driving from Vancouver -> Toronto. US or Canada route?

I'm moving to Toronto from Vancouver for work. I will be driving. I was originally planning on going through the US mostly for a change of scenery and a different atmosphere. I've done the Vancouver -> Edmonton/Calgary drive 5-6 times by now (I understand this is part is a major reason why people do the drive through Canada).

Taking into consideration our current political climate with the US, I'm looking for any advice/influencing tips on why I should do the drive either through the US or Canada. I am not planning on doing any "sightseeing stops" unless it's for example something that's just off the highway. I'm giving myself 8 days for the drive.

NCM STEP - What extra school related costs will the army pay for?

Just looking to clarify what the army will reimburse you for when it comes to school costs. Starting a school program in the Fall under NCM STEP.

CBI 210.801 states that the army will reimburse me for "any costs of necessary material for a required course, including books and instruments, but not paper, pens and other school supplies". How should I interpret what an instrument is? Would something such as a laptop fall under this?

5.5" or 7" shorts

Can't decide on either the 5.5"* (not 5") or 7" shorts. Any advice?

The feet pics were unintentional.

When do class timetables come out?

New student starting Fall 2026 for BMET.

When does Centennial release when classes are being offered during the Fall 2026 semester? I know what classes are required for my program, but I am assuming I have the option to build my own schedule?

Under registration I have a "time ticket" preventing registration until 15 July. I am assuming this is when I actually register for classes? Or is this when class times are being released? Am I unable to build a schedule/timetable before this?

As a side note, I find their website to be rather confusing and hard to navigate. Anyone else feel this?

I'm a reservist who's moving across the country for school. My army kit makes up a large part of what I'm bringing with me and could possibly make the move significantly more expensive. Short of returning most of it to clothing stores and getting it re-issued later, is there any way to load my kit onto a say a national freight run and having the military transport it?

I (M) have a small box full of memories from a previous relationship of over 6 years that I have hidden away. The relationship ended ~3 years ago and we are both living our own happy separate lives. We have no contact with each other. The box is full of mostly handmade cards & hand written notes I received from her. Part of me wants to "honorably" dispose of the contents (ie not just tossing it into trash) while the other part of me wants to hold onto the box. Me holding onto this box does not cause me any real emotional pain or hurt. But I also don't like clutter and this box is quickly becoming that.

I have 1 small item from her that I will keep to represent/remember our time together. But what about the rest? How should I dispose of the items if that's the best route?

TLDR; I have a small box of personal notes, items, and gifts from a previous relationship. Part of me wants to keep it, part of me wants to toss it. What should I do?
