Vegas Show Recommendations

I’m a huge magic fan and it’s one of my main hobbies. I've seen a bunch of shows, but am at the point where I have already seen the ones most people recommend. So, I am looking for some that recs of shows I have not seen yet.

I’ve already seen:

Piff the Magic Dragon
Shin Lim
Colin Cloud
Frederic Da Silva
The Magician’s Study
Mat Franco
Mac King
Penn and Teller
Late Night Magic (At the LINQ Promenade)
The casino (Yes, I know it makes your money disappear)

For my upcoming trip, I already have Jen Kramer and Mind2Mind on my list.

Good Magic Shows

Hey! I am looking for magic show recommendations, but this isn’t the usual “I’m going to Vegas, what magic show should I see?” post.

I’m a huge magic fan and it’s one of my main hobbies.

I’ve already seen Piff the Magic Dragon, Shin Lim, Colin Cloud, Frederic Da Silva, The Magician’s Study, Mat Franco, Mac King, and Late Night Magic. I loved those shows, but I'm having a harder time figuring out what else is actually worth seeing.

For my upcoming trip, I already have Jen Kramer and Mind2Mind on my list.

But, I am having trouble finding more shows because they are not the main ones people recommend.

I appreciate any recs you can throw my way.

Edit: Forgot to add a show a magic show I have been to and always see recommended. Yes, I have been to the casino floor where they will make my money disappear.

Brand New Moonlit Birch from the Wako Building

Was in Japan with my wife, and as one does, I had to buy a new Grand Seiko while I was there.
First, I didn’t know whether I should go to the GS Boutique or the Wako Building. Didn’t know what had the best “experience”. I heard they both are nice, so decided to go off vibes.
I went to the boutique and it seemed kinda small and normal. My wife was not impressed. Wako looked a lot cooler and has a nice history behind it. Plus they have that membership thing to get points back, so I decided to shop there. Tried not to overthink it.
Maybe someone who knows a bit more about buying from the two places can give me a better comparison.
I got to try on a the new UFA divers and the new UFA Lake Suwa (although it is only for preorder right now).
It was a good time!
It was also much cheaper than it would have been in the US. All in, I think I paid about $7500.

Khaki Field - Cat Street Exclusive

I’ve wanted a Khaki field for quite a while, and once I found out about the store exclusives, I knew I needed one. Luckily, I had a spare day in Tokyo!

For anyone interested, here is a data point. I was able to pass by the store as it opened without going out of my way. I was the 5th person in line. This was on Saturday, July 4th 2026.

Also, there is a Luke’s Lobster near the store in Harijuku which was odd to see.
Tried it out. It was fine. The one I had in Boston was better.

Can't Decide! Moonlit Birch vs. Lake Suwa

I am looking to get a new Grand Seiko and am stuck between two seemingly popular choices, SLGW007 and SLGA019.

I already own an SGBA499. And this will probably be my last GS purchase for a very long while.

To quickly summarize my thoughts, the two things I like about GS are the nature inspired textured dials, and the Spring Drive movement. My SGBA499 just has a spring drive.

SLGA019 - Does both things I like in one watch and has a technically better movement that my current GS, however it overlaps with what I already have. I really love that dial though.

SLGW007- Also a really cool dial. Love the bird in the back and this would be my first manual wound watch. It is really different from the 499 and I would still wear both for sure. It also seems like a cool idea to have each watch represent a separate thing I like about Grand Seiko. One Spring Drive and one textured dial. I like the dial just a bit less than the SLGA019.

Unpolished, full sugar, no papers.

Because actual collectors know the soda hierarchy.

I was actually trying to get the Diet Coke model, but they said that I "have no purchase history and could be put on a waitlist". So, I picked up the classic model to keep my wrist warm in the mean time. However, I must say, the wrist presence is undeniable.
(I know what you are thinking. Yes, I do crack open a crisp DC for breakfast on occasion. I regularly have my first diet coke of that day before 9 AM)

Just got (a year ago) a brand new (preowned) SBGA499!

I visited Japan last year hoping to pick up my first Grand Seiko. I knew I wanted a Spring Drive because the movement is, for me, the coolest movement out there.
I was going for the Shunbun, but when I saw one in person, I didn’t fall in love with it the way I expected. The dial just wasn’t as vibrant or pink as I’d hoped.

Then I came across this one and immediately loved the dial color. The guy mentioned it was a special edition for the anniversary of the 9R Spring Drive movement, which made it feel even more fitting.
For a little while, I felt silly for not choosing one of Grand Seiko’s textured dials, since they all SO COOL! But that buyer’s regret is basically gone now. This has become a favorite of mine.

Long Term Parking Near Naha Airport

Hello! I will be staying in Okinawa for a bit, but will need to leave for 2 nights and cannot figure out what to do with my car.

The main issue is my flight is at 7:20 AM, so I am trying to find a place that has 24 hour access and where I can still get to the airport quite early in the morning.

I know that there is parking at Naha airport, but as that looks like it is first come first serve, I don't know how likely I am to run into the issue of the whole lot being full and then I miss my flight.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
