Trying to make my characters fit the Warhammer Fantasy aesthetic. A big part of that is the clothing. The old outfits looked more pilgrim than early renaissance to me.

Thergar is a Bestigor. Betigors have the biggest rack (as in horns). Horns are a sign of superiority for Beastmen. They are the strongest, toughest, and most disciplined of the Gors, but no more civilized than their lesser kin. They fill the rank of elite infantry and are often the leader of the warherd.

In this one Mouse Protector finds out Taylor is a cape after rescuing her from the juice incident with the trio. Mouse Protector mentors Taylor, who adopts Mouse Protector's sense of humor for bad puns and tactics for embarrassing villains.

Myrmidia is the goddess of war. She embodies the nobler aspects of was such as tactics and valor. She is a primarily worshiped in the Southern Realms like Tilea and Estalia. She is worshiped in the Empire too, but she is not as popular over there.

Hermit Herd Characters Compressed

Fellow kin and friends of the Dawi. King Rorek Runebrand here. I don’t know how many ales it takes to stop feeling shame but so far it isn’t five. I am in dire need of your wisdom. To be quick about it, my daughter Getri, is dating an elf! She’s a leaflover of all things! I can hardly believe it. 

Our hold shares an island with an elf settlement so we deal with each other regularly. Interacting with these elves is insufferable, I tell you. For these elves are a particularly snide breed. My daughter took over the role of diplomat after I strangled the last smug elf I had the displeasure of interacting with from that clan. (Thovar the Keen if you’re reading this I hope your neck is still bent like the straw you use to drink your meals) Getri was maybe too enthusiastic to become a diplomat for the elves, now that I’m looking back… 

Despite these elves being a bunch of pretentious pricks with a patronizing disposition towards our kin, our hold has maintained a relatively amicable relations with them. So Getri is doing well keeping the peace between the dwarfs and the elves, but I worry what this could mean for her runesmith apprenticeship. This elf girlfriend of hers is muddling her head with ideas of shoddy magical theories and subpar elgi craftsmanship! Bah! Elgi craftsmanship I tell you! She should be following the teachings of our ancestors and casting runes instead of fraternizing with an elf.

I’ve already asked my Thanes what they would do in my position and overall they agree that taking the slayer oath for failing as a parent is definitely a solid move, but I am unsure. That seems drastic. Especially if this turns out to just be a phase. Will my daughter wise up and stop dating the elf eventually? Should I intervene? If so, then how? Can any kin relate to this tribulation?

Turns out Norscan Dwarfs are a thing. I think that’s rad! Love me some Norscans, love me so Dwarfs. The combination of the two is something awesome. But Norscan Elves aren’t a thing, and that’s a shame. So I’ve created an OC faction of Dwarfs and Elves on a remote island in the far north that are heavily influenced by Norscan ways and customs. 

Keira (elf) is a weeb for Dwarf culture while Getri (Dwarf) is a weeb for elf culture. They don’t fit in very well with their own kin but are the most ideal diplomat for when the Norse Elves and Norse Dwarfs need to interact. Getri is a runesmith with a fascination with magic and Keira is a begrudging priestess of Khaine.
