i wanna start racing/drinving at my local rc track.
Currently im checking out the options i have for purchasing my first track car.
The Hobbytech X-Mid Kit looks verry interesting. Its available for 165€. I had a budget of about 400€ in mind, so i would have arround 235 for Servo, ESC and Motor.
I already own a Flysky Noble NB4+ and have a spare receiver on hand.
Does anybody know the X-Mid and have driven/compared it to diffrent brand cars?
Are there any alternatives that would fit in my budget?
Curious what you guys think/say.
Used market, i dont know anything about. Wouldnt know what to look for and im not experienced, so im scared to get ripped off when buying used. Also i think the used market in germany is kinda dead for 2wd race buggys.
Edit: Im based in Germany close to the boarder to swizerland.

i need some help with gear mesh on my traxxas maxx v2.
I ordered a GPM XO050TS 50T Hardened Steel Spur Gear and a Tekno TKR4183 – M5 Pinion Gear (23t, MOD1, 5mm bore, M5 set screw).
I just installed them both and tried to set up mesh with "Pin Locations for Setting Gear Mesh" in the manual. It says i have to put the Pin in slot D.
If i do it exactly like that, i get this gear mesh.
I dont know if this is ok... It seems kinda weak.

Today the Flysky FGr4D Receiver arrived from banggood.
I instantly changed the stock ESC/RX Combo to the FGr4D and went straight to driving.
Its such a fun little car. Can 100% recommend it. Fun to drive on high grip street. Sadly cant test carpet. On smooth wood floor, its not great.
Best 140€ i spend on a car yet.

Ich weiß nichtmehr weiter...
Wenn ich sie normal verbinde, also nicht über "Manuell hinzufügen", kann ich sie nür über Bluetooth bedienen. Nicht übers Internet.
Bin über jeden Tipp dankbar.

I just got my first 1/24 scale rc car.
Its a HobbyPlus Speck B Brushless. I went for the brushless version because i want to convert the transmitter/receiver to my Flysky Noble NB4+ and a Flysky FGr4D.
Verry hyped about the small little thing. Ive heard its a great little buggy.
Planning on building a home track with small jumps in my living room.
Curious if there are some Speck B user in this reddit. What do you guys think about the Speck B, how often you drive it, where do you drive it?

Hey guys,
i want to get a Tekno Kit cause ive heared alot of good things about them.
Im just struggling between the MT48 2.0 and the MT410 2.0.
If i would get the MT48 2.0, i could strip out the Max8 Combo with 2250kV motor from my traxxas maxx. Sell the maxx as a roller and put it inside the MT48 2.0.
For the MT410 2.0 i think i would have to get a max10 combo. So id keep the traxxas maxx.
Im unsure.
What would you guys do in my shoe?
